Dunkin' Teams With Vera Wang, Launches "I Dough" Ring Box for Proposals
Vera Wang embroidered winners' Dunkin' orders inside their wedding gowns for this wild National Proposal Day collab nobody saw coming.

Vera Wang has a new title, and it has nothing to do with couture. The bridal legend served as Dunkin's self-styled "Chief Proposal Officer" for a National Proposal Day campaign that dropped March 20, pairing pink ring boxes with glazed donut holes and, for one contest winner, a custom wedding gown with their Dunkin' order stitched inside it.
The campaign hinged on Dunkin's limited-edition "I Dough" ring box, a pink-branded keepsake that arrived at participating U.S. locations for one day only. To score one, customers had to purchase a 25- or 50-count order of MUNCHKINS. Inside the box: a single Wedding Cake MUNCHKIN Donut Hole Treat, a glazed blueberry cake donut hole topped with wedding cake-flavored sprinkles. Supplies were limited, and the giveaway was strictly U.S.-only across Dunkin's domestic footprint, which sits inside a global network of more than 13,000 locations worldwide.
The Vera Wang partnership pushed the stunt well past novelty territory. Wang, described by the brand as a longtime Dunkin' fan, lent her name and her flagship salons to a contest that ran from March 20 through April 3, 2026. Entrants had to feature the "I Dough" ring box in a proposal video posted to Instagram or TikTok, tag @dunkin and @verawanggang, and use the hashtag #DunkinVeraWangcontest. The prize: an exclusive bridal shopping experience at Wang's flagship salon in either New York City or Beverly Hills, where the winner selects a wedding gown. The finishing detail is what made this genuinely strange and kind of brilliant: Wang embroidered the winner's go-to Dunkin' order inside the gown, so they'd have "something brewed" on their wedding day. Winner selection was handled jointly by Wang and Dunkin' after the contest closed April 3.
The campaign visuals leaned hard into the pink-and-sugar aesthetic: press imagery showed the ring box styled alongside a Dunkin' iced coffee, a pink frosted donut with sprinkles, champagne glasses, and pink roses. A separate shot featured a diamond engagement ring resting on a donut hole inside the open pink box, which is exactly the kind of absurdist bridal tableau that was made for TikTok.
Dunkin' also dropped a limited-edition "Something Brewed" merch collection on March 20 at 10 a.m. ET through DunkinRunsonMerch.com, extending the wedding season moment beyond the one-day ring box giveaway.
The timing was deliberate: National Proposal Day falls annually on March 20, positioned as the unofficial start of engagement season. Dunkin' framed the entire campaign around that seasonal shift, from proposals to bridal showers to bachelorette trips. What they actually built was a press moment disguised as a donut promotion, and Vera Wang's willingness to embroider a medium iced coffee order into a bridal gown confirmed that the collab had real creative commitment behind it.
