When Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson stepped up as officiant at Gary Owen's wedding, the ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston was already stacked with enough star power to rival a film premiere. Owen married Brianna Johnson on March 7 in what People described as an "ultra-elegant, black-and-white" affair attended by roughly 170 guests, with the former NFL wide receiver presiding over vows while five of Hollywood's better-known faces stood in as groomsmen.
Those groomsmen were Owen's Think Like A Man collaborators: producer Will Packer alongside actors Michael Ealy, Terrence J, Romany Malco, and Jerry Ferrara. The casting, if you want to call it that, gave the ceremony the feel of a reunion as much as a wedding. The most quietly affecting moment, though, belonged to the couple's twin sons, born July 14, 2023, who walked the aisle as ring bearers.
The reception inside the Four Seasons leaned fully into the monochromatic palette with details that read as intentional extravagance rather than default luxury: a champagne tower, caviar service, live music, and an interactive espresso martini ice luge that gave guests something to talk about well beyond the décor. Black and white as a wedding color story can easily tip into cold formality, but the programming here kept the temperature warm.

Owen, who proposed to Brianna Johnson on October 3, 2022, spoke to the weight of the commitment without softening it into platitude. "Being married means this is the person I want to share my life with, the good, the bad, the happy, the sad," he said. "No matter what, we are going to figure out things together."
The couple plans to defer their formal honeymoon until later this summer, once Owen completes his current tour. Given that their relationship has already moved through a proposal, the arrival of twins, and now a ceremony that commanded a 170-person guest list at one of Houston's marquee hotel venues, a delayed honeymoon reads less like a compromise and more like the kind of practical intimacy Owen was describing.
