Months after her wedding to Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez gave the world its first real look inside the bridal fitting room on March 3, sharing never-before-seen Instagram Stories ahead of her guest appearance on Blanco's "Friends Keep Secrets" podcast. The centerpiece of the drop: a black-and-white photograph of Gomez in an early version of a draped, high-neck floor-length gown with lace accents, the image overlaid with her own handwriting: "first fitting of one of my dresses."

Gomez wore four different Ralph Lauren looks across the wedding and reception, according to InStyle. Among them was a shorter off-the-shoulder frock she chose specifically for the reception. The ceremony itself leaned into Jewish tradition: Gomez and Blanco were lifted in chairs during the hora, both of them grinning through the moment. Blanco's close friend Dave Burd, the rapper and comedian known as Lil Dicky, officiated. Burd co-hosts "Friends Keep Secrets" with Blanco and his wife, Kristin Batalucco, and the March 3 episode was where both newlyweds finally talked publicly about the emotional weight of standing at the altar together.

"I was trying so hard! I was trying so hard not to cry!" Blanco said of watching Gomez walk down the aisle. Gomez recalled the moment with equal honesty: "All I know is once I got up there, we just, we lost it." Blanco added: "We were laughing, crying, talking." Gomez's final description of the ceremony was the most intimate: "The whole time I remember just staring at no one else but you. I kept going, 'It's okay, we've got this.'"

The guest list read like a shortlist for cultural relevance. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Martin Short, Gomez's Only Murders in the Building co-star, were all in attendance.

Beyond the wedding content, Gomez posted the photos through Instagram's "Secret Friends" feature, which Elle noted is technically visible to her millions of followers. The broader archive she shared spanned her Fourth of July 2023 with Swift, music video shoots, vacations, and couple portraits with Blanco.
