Hermès Brings Women's Fall 2026 Chapter Two to Los Angeles
Hermès is taking Chapter Two of its Women's Fall 2026 collection to Los Angeles on June 4, completing a three-city global tour that started in New York and Shanghai.

Hermès is heading to Los Angeles. The house confirmed that the second chapter of its Women's Fall 2026 collection will be presented in the city on June 4, marking the third stop in what has become a deliberate multi-city rollout strategy for the brand's between-season presentations.
This is the third iteration of the Chapter Two format, with the first two instalments landing in New York and Shanghai. The concept works as an extension of the original Paris runway moment, translating the collection's central ideas into a new city's visual and cultural language rather than simply restaging them.
The most concrete precedent on record is the New York edition for Fall 2024, when Hermès took over Pier 36 to debut the second chapter of that season's collection. WWD described that show as one that "zigzagged between French traditional and New York eclectic," with the collection connecting the Paris runway's proposals, inspired by the idea of riding, both traditional horseback and more rebellious motorbike, to the colorful, kinetic energy of New York. The venue choice mattered: Pier 36 on the East River gave the show physical scale and a geography that felt genuinely site-specific, not just relocated.
The Fall 2026 Paris runway, presented under the house name Nadege Vanhée, set the creative foundation that the Los Angeles Chapter Two will now interpret. PurseBop's coverage of recent Hermès seasons captures how much the accessory program has been evolving in parallel with ready-to-wear. The Farandole necklace has moved well beyond jewelry into a structural detail appearing across handbags, belts, and full ensembles, while the newly introduced Bijou de Sac charm surfaced on select pieces this season. PurseBop noted that the house's "signature detailing was reimagined this season, moving beyond the familiar handbag charms into more inventive applications," a shift that suggests the L.A. presentation will likely carry the same appetite for formal experimentation.

The Birkin and Kelly remain the gravitational center of any Hermès season, but the brand has been building out around them: six new bags were introduced for Autumn-Winter 2026, alongside new silhouettes, miniatures, and limited editions. For the Autumn-Winter 2026 runway, Hermès returned to La Garde Républicaine in Paris, where the streets outside became their own runway for street-style coverage documented by photographer Despi Naka and the PurseBop team.
No Los Angeles venue has been announced for the June 4 presentation. Given how specifically Hermès has chosen its Chapter Two locations in previous seasons, site selection will say something deliberate about how the house reads L.A. as a fashion city. The question is whether the city gets a venue as architecturally loaded as Pier 36, or something that leans harder into California's particular relationship with outdoor space and sunlight.
The announcement was first reported by WWD on March 13, 2026. June 4 is still months out, but for a brand that moves this intentionally, the calendar date is already the beginning of the conversation.
