Classic Cadillacs sweeping up the estate drive, poolside loungers in red, white and blue, and Lionel Richie behind the decks: Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 2026 campaign arrived in late February as a full-throated argument that American prep never actually went anywhere, it just needed the right party.

Shot by photographer Lachlan Bailey at a Palm Beach estate inspired by Hilfiger's own home, and set to motion by a campaign film directed by Roman Coppola, the whole thing reads less like a lookbook and more like a guest list you wish you were on. Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion headline the cast, joined by Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, Lionel Richie, Iman, MGK, Checo Pérez, Lucien Laviscount, Soo Joo Park, Luke Champion and Raphael Diogo. The Hollywood Reporter called the lineup "multi-generational," and that framing earns its keep: the range of faces is part of the point.

Schwarzenegger summed up the wearability case cleanly: "I love how wearable it is. It's classic prep at the core, but the silhouettes feel updated." Champion, his spouse and the campaign's co-lead, described the collection as "chic in an effortless way," adding that "you can throw it on and instantly feel pulled together, whether you're layering up or heading somewhere sunny." For Champion, returning to Hilfiger after first appearing in his fall 2024 campaign was instinctive: "Ever since Patrick and I first worked with Tommy in his fall 2024 campaign, we've been lucky enough to be pulled into his orbit of entertainment and timeless style. There's something about the way he brings people together."

Hilfiger himself framed the collection around continuity and evolution, describing it as "the next chapter of the Tommy lifestyle, refreshed for today," built on "that feeling of opening the doors and creating a moment." PVH, Hilfiger's parent company, positioned the campaign as drawing on four decades of blending fashion with art, music, entertainment and sport.

On the product side, the Spring 2026 collection pulls its cues from West Coast style and California's approach to relaxed dressing. New denim silhouettes lead with a barrel cut for women and a relaxed straight for men, both in lighter spring washes. Transitional layering arrives in the form of oversized trenches and chore coats with heritage-inspired touches, practical anchors for the months when the weather hasn't fully committed. The knit and shirting story centers on rugbies and polos in rich cable textures, updated with club crest graphics and varsity detail. For occasion and vacation dressing, the palette stays firmly in Hilfiger's signature red, white and blue. Spring tailoring and breathable off-duty linen round out the offering, bridging day-to-night and city-to-getaway dressing across the season.

Coppola's film captures all of it mid-swing: guests arriving, Cadillacs on the drive, a garden party that looks, as Tom + Lorenzo put it, "instantly iconic." Prep, in Hilfiger's hands this season, has loosened its collar without losing its footing.
