adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Unveils Western‑Inspired NBA All‑Star Capsule
A silver, rose‑embossed Harden Vol. 10 ($180) anchors Willy Chavarria's western‑inspired All‑Star capsule, which hit the adidas CONFIRMED App and adidas online on Feb 13 after an LA kickoff.

A Harden Vol. 10 finished in a silver material embossed with a rose pattern, priced at $180 on ShoePalace, led adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria’s NBA All‑Star Weekend capsule, which launched exclusively in Los Angeles before a global drop via the adidas CONFIRMED App and adidas online on February 13. The Harden 10 special edition is presented as the collection’s anchor and was paired throughout the capsule with western and equestrian motifs that retool basketball silhouettes into something cinematic and local.
Willy Chavarria framed the project as a neighborhood statement as much as a fashion drop. He wrote that “the shared collectivity of fashion, music, and sports empowers and glues the spirit of compassion and unity,” and explained his intent to center downtown Los Angeles in order to push back against erasure: “I proposed to Adidas that we celebrate not just the city itself, but the downtown community specifically. It was extremely important to me during a time when we’ve seen so many ICE raids and so much of the erasure of the downtown community, from [LA’s fashion district] Santee Alley to so many other businesses and restaurants downtown that have been affected. So I just wanted to bring a glimpse of hope and bring all of these amazing performers of colors and bring the community into the space.”
Alongside the Harden 10, ShoePalace lists a Compton Cowboys Superstar at $180, described visually as black Adidas sneakers with white accents and a textured toe cap, and GQ notes a standout black‑leather Superstar in the lineup. The apparel range on ShoePalace includes a Chavarria Pinstripe Track Jacket for $350, a Chavarria Coaches Jacket for $500, Chavarria Star Logo Shorts for $140, and short sleeve tees, Star Logo and LA variants, at $100 each. Product imagery emphasizes cowboy hats at dusk, a black zip‑up jacket with white logo and three stripes, and a white cropped tee with graphic detailing, underscoring Chavarria’s rodeo and downtown LA references.

The capsule’s launch was staged as a multi‑day hub during All‑Star Weekend with activations in Los Angeles running February 12 through February 15. Hypebeast and Boardroom reported the kickoff on February 12, fan experiences highlighting local music and food, and the global product release on February 13 through CONFIRMED and adidas online. Max Staiger, Global General Manager of adidas Basketball, framed the strategy plainly: “The next generation of basketball lives at the intersection of culture and performance. NBA All‑Star Weekend is the ultimate expression of that energy. In Los Angeles, we’re bringing the vision of adidas Basketball to life – immersing fans in the culture that defines the game and our journey to be the brand for the next generation.”
This capsule continues a clear arc in the Chavarria‑adidas partnership: Chavarria’s inaugural adidas collection debuted in January 2025, a Megaride AG drop appeared in late January, and his Paris show last June featured James Harden, the 11‑time NBA All‑Star and longtime adidas athlete, walking the runway. With credits and campaign imagery by Andres Norwood, the adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria All‑Star capsule cements Chavarria’s role within adidas’ collaborator roster and puts downtown LA’s western iconography at the forefront of All‑Star Weekend, with worldwide availability beginning February 13.
