Kith Unites NBA Playoffs Branding, Armani Luxury in Knicks Drop
Kith folded NBA Playoffs branding into its Knicks universe and sharpened the drop with Giorgio Armani’s first-ever NBA collaboration.

Kith turned Knicks fandom into something closer to a luxury uniform, and the sharpest signal was the debut of official NBA Playoffs branding inside Ronnie Fieg’s growing New York universe. The 2026 Playoffs collection centered on the pieces that move fastest in streetwear: Satin Bomber Jackets, Thompson Camp Collar Shirts, New Era snapbacks, a structured tote, and the kind of graphic-heavy staples that make a playoff run feel collectible before the series even settles.
The standout crossover was the Giorgio Armani capsule tied to the New York Knicks. Armani’s first-ever collaboration with the NBA gave the collection a rare high-low charge, especially in the Harmon Rugby Polo in cashmere, the Malik Shirt in lightweight linen, and a lightly padded premium wool Bomber Jacket. That jacket carried embroidered chest and sleeve details, tri-branded suede artwork across the back, and the sort of finish that makes a team logo look less like merchandise and more like fashion shorthand. Kith said the Armani Knicks bomber was limited to two units per customer, a scarcity move that instantly pushed it deeper into collector territory. Some of the Armani Knicks pieces were also sold exclusively at Kith Manhattan.
The broader Kith-for-Knicks range kept the sportswear language intact while sharpening the execution. Alongside the Satin Bomber Jacket and all-over printed Thompson Camp Collar Shirt, Kith included the Performance Knit Polo, Nelson Hoodie, Ainslie Polo, cotton jersey tees, the Playoffs Canvas Tote, and New Era headwear. Varsity-inspired appliqué embroidery and printed graphics tied the assortment together, the kind of detailing that reads clean in the arena and even cleaner on the street.

The collection was sold through a Kith-for-Knicks pop-up in Chase Square at Madison Square Garden, on 7th Avenue between 31st Street and 33rd Street. That setting mattered almost as much as the clothes. Kith has spent years turning Knicks collaborations into a visual language for New York identity, from the 2024 project with Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, and Mikal Bridges to a special Kith Night at Madison Square Garden and work with Michael Doret, the original designer of the Knicks logo. In 2025, the brand even threaded the story back to Ronnie Fieg’s birth year, 1982-83.
That history made the 2026 drop feel less like another team capsule and more like the latest stage in Kith’s expansion from merch into status signaling. The 2026 NBA Playoffs began April 18 after the April 14-17 play-in tournament, and with the Knicks facing the Atlanta Hawks, Kith dressed the moment in satin, cashmere, wool, and the kind of branded precision that has become its signature. In New York, playoff gear has become less about allegiance than about taste.
