For Marc Jacobs, the collaboration fits neatly alongside a run of pop-culture-forward moves that includes campaigns with Paris Hilton and Doja Cat and the cult virality of the reissued Stam bag and "The Tote Bag." Mickey Mouse on a tennis dress is, architecturally, the same play: maximum recognition, low barrier to entry, strong visibility across Disney's global retail footprint.
