NAHMIAS and PUMA Blend Motorsport Heritage With West Coast Style
NAHMIAS x PUMA's second collab lands the Speedcat in three suede colorways, with F1's Charles Leclerc fronting a campaign that trades pit lanes for California sun.

The second chapter of Doni Nahmias and PUMA's partnership arrived with sharper focus than the first. Where their debut, which previewed at Paris Men's Fashion Week in June 2025 and centered on PUMA's archival Suede, established the handshake between two distinct worlds, this follow-up goes deeper into racing territory. The Speedcat, PUMA's low-profile silhouette with genuine motorsport credentials, became the foundation for a capsule that translates pit-lane precision into the unhurried register of California streetwear.
The Speedcat arrives in three new colorways, each built from premium suede overlays with subtle distressing and co-branded details woven throughout. The construction nods to the shoe's heritage without treating it as a museum piece; the distressing softens the silhouette just enough to pull it off the track and into something that reads as genuinely lived-in.
On the apparel side, the CLRT Track Jacket and matching Track Pant anchor the collection with contrast piping and woven jacquard detailing that brings a tailored tension to what could otherwise read as standard athletic wear. A sporty knit jersey and a set of washed long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees, finished with raw-edge detailing, fill out the range with the kind of elevated basics that make a capsule wearable beyond the initial hype cycle.
The campaign's most deliberate choice was enlisting Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc to front it. His presence doesn't feel like a borrowed credential; it closes the loop between the Speedcat's actual motorsport origins and NAHMIAS's reinterpretation of racing as a West Coast aesthetic language.

Nahmias, who founded his brand in 2018 drawing from his hometown of Summerland, California, and its surrounding culture of surf, skate, and basketball, has been consistent in how he approaches collaborative footwear. Of his first PUMA project, he noted: "The goal was to bring new Nahmias codes into the sneaker while still respecting the legacy of the Suede." The Speedcat project follows that same discipline.
The collection opened to North American buyers via the NAHMIAS webstore on April 8, with the wider release through PUMA's own channels, the PUMA Las Vegas flagship, and select retailers arriving on April 10. For a second collaboration, the range reads less like a proof of concept and more like a brand alliance finding its stride.
