NEIGHBORHOOD’s SS26 outdoor capsule packs technical gear and accessories
NEIGHBORHOOD’s SS26 outdoor capsule mixes real commute-ready hardware with pure gorpcore signal, and the ¥9,900 trekking umbrella is the sharpest utility move.

The smartest thing in NEIGHBORHOOD’s SS26 outdoor capsule is not the sandal or the shades. It is the NH x ARATA folding umbrella, a trekking piece built for sun and rain with an eight-rib carbon-reinforced resin frame and an aluminum shaft. That is the kind of detail that makes this drop feel less like costume ruggedness and more like something you could actually keep in a bag when the weather turns.
The collection, officially labeled NEIGHBORHOOD® SS26_OUTDOOR COLLECTION, landed April 29 through NEIGHBORHOOD’s direct locations, its official online store, and authorized dealers. The lineup is loaded with outdoor hardware and layered basics: PACKABLE LW JACKET, ACTIVE GLOVE, LW ACTIVE PANTS, ACTIVE CREWNECK LS, ACTIVE CREWNECK SS, NH x RIG FOOTWEAR SOLID SANDAL, NH x OWLMILS TSUKUYOMI, NH x VELO SPICA P.S.C CAP, NH x HELINOX LITE ROLL TOP BACK PACK, NH x HELINOX POLE TL115, and NH x ARATA FOLDING UMBRELLA.
On function, the clearest wins are the pieces that solve everyday problems without asking for a trailhead. The NH x HELINOX LITE ROLL TOP BACK PACK, priced at ¥28,600, makes sense for a city commute or a weekend train ride because roll-top construction usually means flexible volume and better weather protection than a standard daypack. The NH x HELINOX LITE HIP PACK, at ¥16,500, feels even more natural for urban daily carry. That is the piece for keys, cardholder, phone, and headphones, not a fantasy base camp. Helinox’s identity as a maker of lightweight portable outdoor equipment gives those collaborations real weight instead of just logo swapping.

The PACKABLE LW JACKET at ¥57,200 and LW ACTIVE PANTS at ¥28,600 look like the apparel core of the capsule, and they are the items most likely to work beyond the styling rack. The jacket should be the emergency layer, the pants the utilitarian anchor. By contrast, the NH x HELINOX POLE TL115 at ¥33,000 is more specialized, the kind of gear that makes sense only if your weekends involve actual hiking or long walks with elevation. It is the least urban item in the set, which also makes it the most honest about its purpose.
Then there is the rest of the flex. The NH x OWLMILS TSUKUYOMI sunglasses at ¥29,700 and the NH x RIG FOOTWEAR SOLID SANDAL at ¥27,500 are undeniably part of the look, but they read more aesthetic than indispensable. Same with the ACTIVE CREWNECK LS at ¥16,500 and ACTIVE CREWNECK SS at ¥15,400, which help build the uniform without carrying the collection on their own. NEIGHBORHOOD’s April 2026 release calendar is already crowded with collaborations, and this capsule fits that rhythm perfectly: enough technical credibility to sell the utility fantasy, and enough sharp accessories to keep the streetwear crowd interested.
