Our Legacy just put its workwear instinct on a treadmill. WORK SHOP SPORT is the Stockholm brand’s first sports collection, an 18-piece capsule cut from deadstock and residual technical fabrics and aimed at the “everyday athlete” who wants one wardrobe to carry from a training session to the rest of the day.

That’s the smart part of it. Our Legacy, founded in 2005 by Jockum Hallin, Cristopher Nying, and Richardos Klarén, has always traded in a kind of disciplined nonchalance, the sort of clothes that look better after they’ve been worn hard. WORK SHOP already leaned into deadstock, residual, and organic materials with Spring 2025, so SPORT feels less like a sudden pivot than a clean extension of the brand’s existing logic. The difference is that this time the uniforms are built around movement: outerwear, jersey staples, Half Tights, Sports Shorts, a Running Gilet, a WORK SHOP Hood, a Box Tee, and a mesh-reworked blouson jacket that gives the whole thing its clearest street-to-track edge.

The result is more convincing than a lot of fashion-brand activewear, which usually lands somewhere between pseudo-tech and expensive loungewear. Here, the materials do the heavy lifting. Deadstock and residual performance fabrics give the capsule some real-world credibility, while the silhouettes stay recognizably Our Legacy, pared back, slightly sly, and designed to slot into the rest of the brand’s wardrobe rather than scream “gym.” That makes the collection interesting for anyone who actually wants office-to-gym-to-weekend versatility, not just another branded workout flex.

Our Legacy says the line is meant to move between physical activity and moments of rest, and that framing matters. It suggests a daily uniform, not a one-off drop. The launch imagery, shot by Lo Vahlström, keeps that idea polished rather than sweaty, which is exactly the tension here: this is sustainability dressed up in clean lines and fashion restraint, not in utilitarian grit.

WORK SHOP SPORT went live globally on April 17, 2026, through the brand’s official online shop. In Japan, sales were limited to Dover Street Market Ginza and the Our Legacy online store, a distribution strategy that keeps the capsule tight and a little rare, which is probably how it should be. For a brand built on cult credibility, the move into activewear works best when it stays specific, and this one does.
