Marilyn Monroe's 1950s Style Inspires a New Limited-Edition Teaware Collection
Noon & Moon's Marilyn Monroe Romance Edit translates polka dots, cherry motifs, and candy-colored pastels from Monroe's 1950s film wardrobe onto a limited-edition teaware capsule.

Noon & Moon, a Los Angeles-based homeware brand, partnered with the Marilyn Monroe estate to bring one of Hollywood's most recognizable wardrobes to the tea table. The Marilyn Monroe Romance Edit, a limited-edition teaware capsule, launched March 8 on Noon & Moon's website, timed to arrive ahead of Monroe's centennial birthday year.
The collection draws directly from Monroe's 1950s aesthetic: the hyperfeminine silhouettes, candy-colored dresses, and bow-accented looks that defined her both on and off screen. Her costumes in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "How to Marry a Millionaire" leaned heavily on polka dots, cherry-red lips, and pastel palettes, and those same references now appear on teapots, teacups and saucers, coffee mugs, dessert plates, a cream-and-sugar set, and a three-tiered pastry stand. Every piece is rendered in baby blue, blush pink, and butter yellow, and adorned with pink bows, polka dots, and cherry motifs that nod directly to Monroe's most recognizable fashion moments.
As an anniversary gift, the Romance Edit works because it has a clear point of view. This isn't generic vintage kitsch; the design logic is specific and considered. The three-tiered pastry stand in particular is the kind of piece that elevates an afternoon tea into an occasion, and the cream-and-sugar set reads as a genuinely charming standalone gift for someone who takes their coffee ritual seriously. Pricing has not been disclosed by Noon & Moon, and the exact production run hasn't been confirmed beyond the "limited-edition" designation, which is worth tracking before making a purchase decision.

The Romance Edit arrives as part of a broader wave of centennial collaborations. SharkNinja launched its own Marilyn Monroe Collection spanning home, beauty, and kitchen categories in February 2026. Brooks Brothers unveiled a centennial capsule built around Monroe's iconography. ACC Art Books has "Marilyn Monroe 100: The Official Centenary Book" due in May, currently available to pre-order.
What distinguishes the Noon & Moon capsule within that landscape is its specificity of reference. Where broader merchandise tends to lean on Monroe's most iconic images, the Romance Edit builds its visual language from her wardrobe's recurring codes, the bows and cherries and polka dots that recurred across her film roles and personal style. For a couple who shares a love of mid-century aesthetics, or for the partner who considers a beautifully set table a form of self-expression, this collection makes a genuinely considered anniversary gift rather than a celebrity licensing novelty.
