Béis Debuts Connectable Hybrid Roller Suitcases for Polished Travel
Béis is tackling the airport juggle with rollers that clip together, plus a $298 carry-on and a $388 check-in built for polished travel.

Juggling a carry-on, a tote and a personal item through an airport is exactly the kind of travel headache Béis is trying to solve. The brand’s new Hybrid Roller collection is built around a patent-pending Coupling System that lets multiple bags connect and roll as one, which is a very smart gift idea for the woman who always ends up balancing too much at the curb, the station platform or the family hotel lobby.
The system is the selling point here, and it is more than a gimmick on paper. Béis built collapsible hooks and receiving handles into each suitcase, so the bags can lock together instead of drifting apart in transit. That makes the Hybrid line feel genuinely different from a standard roller, especially for frequent travelers who move with more than one piece of luggage at a time. If she usually travels light with a single spinner, the coupling feature may feel like a nice extra. If she is the person corralling her own bag plus a child’s, a laptop tote and a duty-free pouch, it starts to look much more useful.
The debut lineup lands on April 23 and includes two pieces: the Hybrid Carry-On Roller at $298 and the Hybrid Check-In Roller at $388. Both mix softside flexibility with hardside structure, a combination that should appeal to travelers who want a little give without giving up shape. Béis says the bags include aluminum corner guards, a textured exterior finish, 70D nylon twill lining, dual mesh zip pockets, a hidden Airtag compartment, a hanger loop and removable water-resistant pouches for shoes, laundry or damp items. The Check-In also has a weight indicator that flashes red when the bag goes over 50 pounds, a small detail that feels especially giftable for anyone who has ever had to repack at the counter.

Color is part of the pitch too. The rollers come in Béis Black, Espresso and a limited-edition Dusty Blue, with matching luggage covers priced between $54 and $64. That range keeps the look polished without veering into precious. Béis, founded in 2018 by Shay Mitchell, has built its business around making travel feel easier without sacrificing style, and the scale behind it matters: CEO Adeela Hussain Johnson said in 2024 that the company had already surpassed $200 million in revenue.
For gifts, this is the rare luggage launch that feels specific rather than generic. It is best for the polished overpacker, the frequent flyer, or the woman who likes her travel gear to look considered from the security line to the baggage claim.
