Twin palm trees, a burnished sunset, and the unmistakable silhouette of a Malibu bottle: Anya Hindmarch has reimagined one of summer's most nostalgic labels as a trio of raffia accessories, and the result lands somewhere between holiday souvenir and considered luxury gift.

Malibu, the world's number one white rum-based coconut liqueur, has partnered with Anya Hindmarch on a limited-edition Off Duty capsule, available at the Village Off Duty concept store in Chelsea and online globally from March 14 through May 24. The collection is Hindmarch's latest in a series of Anya Brands collaborations, and it is the centerpiece of her Village Hall's high summer activation on Pont Street.

The raffia-woven trio fuses Hindmarch's 1980s-inspired, duty-free air travel concept with Malibu's invitation to clock off and shift into off-duty mode, with each accessory reimagining Malibu's original label design: twin palm trees silhouetted against the burnished orange glow of a setting sun.

The three pieces themselves are well-considered rather than merely branded. The hand-woven white raffia tote is laid-back and city-ready, with adjustable chocolate-brown leather straps and buckle detailing. The zipped raffia wallet is sleek and practical, roomy enough for a passport and the necessary currency. The Malibu bottle charm, a mini reminder of summer escapes, clips onto handbags, keys, or anywhere you need a touch of sunshine. More specifically, the charm is made from shiny capra leather in the shape of a bottle, printed with tropical artwork and fitted with a gold-tone clasp and key ring.

Known for her exceptional attention to detail and obsession with organization, Hindmarch adds clever compartments and unexpected finishing touches to the capsule, elevating cult classics with her distinctly modern, joyful approach to luxury. That sensibility is precisely what makes this feel like a real gift rather than a liquor-brand promotion. The tote could go straight from a Chelsea side street to a Greek island without a single apology.

Hindmarch was direct about the personal pull of the collaboration. "Off Duty, our high summer store in The Village, is home to the latest Anya Brands collaboration in partnership with Malibu," she said. "Malibu brings back such happy summer memories for me. I hope these playful raffia pieces create lots of happy memories for others. Roll on summer."

Craig Max van Niekerk, Malibu's VP of Marketing, framed the brand's ambition more simply: "Every day can be a vacay."

The capsule doesn't exist in isolation. The Village Hall, which Hindmarch launched in 2021 as a collection of five neighboring stores on Pont Street, surrounds the Malibu capsule with a curated edit of her favorite summer brands, from vintage-style resortwear and sunglasses to fragrance, suncare and biscuits, plus a duty-free-inspired lineup of T-shirts, caps, chocolate and travel-inspired gifts from brands including Delarge, La Veste, Vacation, Walkers Shortbread, and Ancient Greek Sandals. The effect, as one observer noted, is less a product drop and more a mini summer destination in the heart of London.

For anyone who cannot make it to Chelsea, the collection is available online globally, with the US site offering free delivery on orders over $300. The window closes May 24, which gives the raffia tote precisely the right amount of time to make it onto a June flight.
