Noon & Moon's Marilyn Monroe Romance Edit Brings 1950s Glamour to Teaware

Polka dots, pink bows, and cherry motifs have officially made it onto your tea table. Los Angeles-based home brand Noon & Moon partnered with the estate of Marilyn Monroe to release the Romance Edit, a limited-edition teaware capsule timed to the actress's centennial, launching on the brand's website on March 8.

The capsule spans teapots, teacups and saucers, coffee mugs, dessert plates, a cream-and-sugar set, and a three-tiered pastry stand. Variety describes the palette as baby blue, blush pink, and butter yellow, with each piece adorned with pink bows, polka dots, and cherry motifs that nod directly to Monroe's most recognizable fashion moments and portraits. Women's Wear Daily adds that the polka dots carry specific biographical weight: Monroe turned to the print throughout her modeling career, wearing it on swimsuits, sundresses, and everything in between, and the Romance Edit channels that same sartorial inclination across every piece.

For the tea-service set, a three-piece grouping of a teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer is priced at $346. The three-tier cake stand, crafted from fine bone china with gold detailing, comes in at $228. Noon & Moon describes the stand as something that "invites a return to ritual," and WWD suggests filling it with sweets, noting that Monroe herself was known to love hot fudge sundaes.

The Romance Edit lands in the middle of a broader centennial wave. SharkNinja launched a Marilyn Monroe Collection spanning home, beauty, and kitchen categories ahead of the Noon & Moon drop. Brooks Brothers unveiled its own limited-edition centennial capsule built around Monroe's iconography. ACC Art Books is due to release "Marilyn Monroe 100: The Official Centenary Book" in May, with pre-orders already open.

What separates the Noon & Moon entry from the apparel and appliance collaborations is its investment in the domestic ritual itself, the deliberate slowness of a three-tier stand loaded with sweets, a teapot poured at leisure, afternoon light catching gold detailing on bone china.
