PUMA and Pokémon Team Up for a Nostalgic, Gift-Ready Anniversary Collection
PUMA's Pokémon "Into Another World" drop landed April 2 with five character sneakers from $110 to $140, and Espeon and Umbreon sizes are already selling through.

PUMA's Pokémon "Into Another World" collection, built for the franchise's 30th anniversary, hit puma.com and PUMA flagship stores on April 2 with five character-specific sneakers, PUMATECH-X tracksuits, and a full apparel run priced from $40 to $150. Within three days of that global drop, select sizes in the Mostro Espeon and Fade Nitro Umbreon were already thinning online, consistent with the sell-out trajectory that sneaker outlets flagged ahead of launch.
The collection's central concept is duality: the visual and symbolic tension between the Sun Pokémon Espeon and the Moonlight Pokémon Umbreon, with the "Into Another World" campaign mirroring the contrast between daylight clarity and shadow. That framework drives the two most interesting silhouettes in the lineup. The Mostro Espeon ($130) arrives in shaggy pink suede, Pearl Pink and Strong Gray, with a spiked sole on the toe. The Fade Nitro Umbreon ($125) lands in PUMA Black and Energizing Yellow, almost the exact inverse of the Pikachu colorway, its gold detailing mapped directly to the ring markings across Umbreon's body. These two belong to the Pokémon fan who knows their Eeveelutions and isn't shy about showing it.
For gifting purposes, the All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu is the most universal entry point. At $140 in adult sizing, it features a yellow and black mesh upper, a white lightning graphic filling in the PUMA stripe on the toe, and red patches inspired by Pikachu's cheeks, with a Pikachu graphic jolting off the medial side panel. Those cheek patches are the kind of franchise fluency that separates a serious licensed collaboration from a logo-on-sneaker exercise. Every pair in the lineup also ships with metal charms on the laces, National Pokédex numbers on the packaging, and Trading Card Game type logos — details that reward the person who opens the box slowly.
Mimikyu claims the Inverse silhouette at $110, the most accessible price point of the five, rendered in beige canvas with an Alpine Snow and PUMA Black colorway suited to the ghost-type's intentionally frayed aesthetic. The Fade Nitro Pikachu ($125) rounds out the lifestyle tier in unisex sizing.
On the apparel side, PUMA built out oversized jerseys with uniform-style numbers specifically referencing Espeon and Umbreon, alongside a PUMATECH-X tracksuit and airbrush-graphic T-shirts. A Mewtwo basketball jersey and shorts set completes the sport-inspired tier, with a cap and satchel bringing the floor price down to $40, a useful entry point for a gift that needs to stay under budget without feeling like a footnote.
The collection is offered in family sizing, extending its gifting range from kids through adults. That breadth covers everyone from a high schooler graduating this spring to the millennial Pokémon fan who watched the original anime on Saturday mornings in 1997 and now has the income to back it up. Pokémon is the world's highest-grossing media franchise, and PUMA, which previously released an ultra-limited $300 Mewtwo Suede last October as an early signal of this partnership, has now delivered the full-scale footwear moment franchise fans had been waiting for. Whether the remaining Espeon and Umbreon inventory holds through the weekend is a separate question entirely.
