Skylar Launches Pomegranate Princess Fragrance at Sephora for Nowruz
Leah Kateb's Pomegranate Princess landed at Sephora on National Fragrance Day, March 21, with notes of juicy pomegranate, strawberry, and whipped frosting at $96.

Inspired by Leah Kateb's Persian heritage and her reputation as the "people's princess," Pomegranate Princess reimagines the pomegranate, a symbol of beauty, abundance, and femininity, through a playful yet polished gourmand lens. Skylar's Chief Creative Officer dropped the scent on one of the most auspicious dates on the fragrance calendar, and the timing was no accident.
Rooted in Persian heritage and gourmand indulgence, the fragrance launched in celebration of Persian New Year and debuted at Sephora on National Fragrance Day. The launch coincides with Nowruz, a time rooted in renewal, reflection, and celebration, reinforcing the fragrance's deeper symbolism and cultural resonance, and Pomegranate Princess made its Sephora debut on National Fragrance Day, March 21.
Kateb is a creative entrepreneur, cultural tastemaker, and breakout star of Love Island USA Season 6. In 2025, she was named Re-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Skylar, where she has driven significant growth and helped usher in a new era for the brand. Her impact has been recognized with honors on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and WWD's list of the 30 Most Impactful Women Under 30 in Beauty and Wellness, both in 2025. Following the debut of her first signature scent, Double Dates, Pomegranate Princess marks the next chapter in Kateb's evolving creative leadership.
The fragrance pairs juicy pomegranate and ripe strawberry with a soft base of whipped frosting, delivering a scent that feels indulgent, approachable, and distinctly Skylar. A delicate balance of warm aromas that took about eight months to perfect. Kateb describes the final result: "Once it settles on your skin, it's such a delicious, warm scent. But initially, it's very juicy and fruity."

For the first time, Pomegranate Princess launches as both a full-size 50ml eau de parfum at $96 and a travel spray at $30. Responding directly to consumer demand, Pomegranate Princess introduces Skylar's first-ever travel spray format, delivering a spray experience fans have long requested in a convenient, on-the-go size. The travel spray is accompanied by a limited-edition keychain accessory, allowing it to double as a stylish bag charm designed to securely hold the scent for easy portability. At $30, the travel spray is also the more accessible entry point for anyone who wants to test the waters before committing to the full bottle.
Skylar is proudly vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive skin. That matters especially for gourmand fragrances, which sometimes rely on synthetic musks and fixatives that can irritate; Skylar's formulation sidesteps that tradeoff entirely.
Kateb announced the scent at Sephoria, Sephora's marquee beauty event held in Los Angeles from March 20 to 21, alongside more than 40 brand founders including Mario Dedivanovic, Danessa Myricks, Jen Atkin, and Pat McGrath. At the event, Kateb told the crowd: "I'm really excited to announce my newest son, Pomegranate Princess...it's the perfect time to drop it because today is Persian New Year. Pomegranates are a symbol of strength and abundance."
The release debuted as a Sephora.com exclusive on March 21, 2026, and became available in-store at Sephora and online at Skylar.com on March 23, 2026.
