Registration Open: Acellus World 2026 Reveals May Graduation Events, Merch
Registration is open for Acellus World 2026, a two-day May 23–24 graduation celebration in Kansas City with a Commencement Ceremony, Science Live with Dr. Billings, and the Acellus Store.

Acellus Academy has opened registration for Acellus World 2026, pitching the event as “a two-day celebration of learning, fun, and achievement” for students and families on May 23–24, 2026. The organizer’s promotional posts and video emphasize graduation activities, graduates will be able to walk the stage, decorate caps, sign Memory Books, take portraits, and visit the Acellus Store during the festivities.
The in-person event will take place at the Acellus Conference Center, 10800 North Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, Missouri, 64153. Ticketstripe’s listing shows the Saturday schedule begins at 8:00 AM on May 23, while Acellus promotional pages consistently describe Acellus World as a two-day affair. Registration has been publicly promoted since January 16 on the Acellus Academy Facebook page and reinforced in a YouTube post on February 19 and a blog post on February 20.
Graduation programming is explicit and varied: the Commencement Ceremony is a featured highlight and the event copy lists hands-on graduation experiences, “decorate your caps,” “sign Memory Books,” “explore the Acellus Store,” “take portraits,” and “walk the stage to celebrate this milestone.” Parents are invited to attend sessions on student success, effective online learning tools, and preparing for life after graduation, with opportunities to connect with other Acellus families on site.
STEM and competition programming anchor the schedule. Attendees can “Attend Science LIVE, Live at Acellus World!” to see Dr. Billings and Pajet in person for demonstrations and stories. The Acellus Science Fair accepts video submissions from students worldwide; winners will be announced at Acellus World and honored with awards including the U.S. Naval Science Award and the Hawkins Medal of Science by the U.S. Army. The Acellus Robot Dance Contest invites students to “code, create, and dance” using Acellus Blockly to program the AC-D2 STEM Robot, with “bonus points for style, robots can even be dressed in costumes.”
On-site family activities mirror the promotional line that invites “thousands of families, students, and educators.” Organizers list hands-on STEM activities, binary beading, Acellus swag bag making, autograph book creation, bounce houses, games, interactive exhibits, Kansas City food trucks, and coffee trucks. The event also promotes Acellus programs such as the Tier-1 Honors Program, the Roger Billings Scholarship & Mentorship Program, the STEM-10 PROGRAM, and a SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM; Acellus Academy is presented as a program of the International Academy of Science, a Kansas City–based non-profit with more than thirty-five years of work in science and education.
Community response has been strong on social platforms: the January 16 Facebook registration post drew 1.2K reactions, 73 comments, and 98 shares, while the Acellus Academy YouTube announcement shows 201 views, 1 like, and 1 comment on a channel with 2,840 subscribers. Ticketstripe’s admission note is the only explicit pricing detail in the event listings: “Admission is free for children under age 5. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.”
Acellus World’s promotional materials close with the call to action to “Register today and be part of the excitement.” With commencement events, named science awards, the AC-D2 showcase, and an Acellus Store on site, the May 23–24 weekend in Kansas City will serve both as a graduation milestone and as a place to hunt for graduation mementos.
