UMD Stores Graduation Fair Offers 20% Off Regalia, Rings, and More

UMD Stores ran a one-day-only 20% discount on graduation regalia at its Grad Fair, posted for March 18, 2026, covering gowns, caps, tassels, and hoods. On-site vendors handled class rings, announcements, and diploma frames, while GradImages offered professional photo sittings at the event.

The discount built on an earlier two-day Graduation Fair the University Book Center hosted on March 3 and 4, 2026, running from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days. That event brought together the full pre-commencement checklist under one roof: regalia purchases, class ring and announcement vendors, special pricing on diploma frames, custom doctoral regalia fittings, and professional photography. The Young Alumni Travel Program was also represented, and graduates could learn about and enroll in the senior class gift program. The University Book Center's Graduation Fair preceded an important ordering deadline: April 18 is the last day to order bachelor's and master's regalia. Doctoral candidates had access to custom fitting services at both the March fair and an earlier Grad Salute event held December 2, 2025, which also offered early regalia purchases, ring and announcement vendor meetings, and special diploma frame pricing.

The commencement timeline extends further into spring. Main ceremony tickets become available to claim on April 13 at 10:00 a.m. through the UMD Athletics student ticket site, where graduates log in using the "Sign In as Student" link. The claim window closes at 10:00 a.m. on May 11. Each graduate is eligible for one personal ticket and six guest tickets to the main ceremony, which takes place at SECU Stadium.
