The brands included were the kind that typically hold firm on price: Charlotte Tilbury, La Mer, Dior, Hermès, Tom Ford, and Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

For gift buyers, the event's structure was particularly well-suited. Nordstrom.com offered free gift-boxing and free gift messaging at checkout, and Nordy Club members received fast, free two-day shipping. That combination made the window between March 11 and March 15 a genuinely useful one for push presents, anniversary gifts, or simply reaching for something on someone's wishlist.

Among the standout picks was the La Mer Must-Have Minis Skincare Gift Set, a four-piece collection presented in the brand's signature green box and priced under $50. Oribe Gold Lust Repair and Restore Shampoo and the Tom Ford Architecture Soft Matte Blush rounded out a sale that covered enough ground to serve nearly every beauty category on a gift list.
