Zoë Kravitz’s ring sparks $500,000 diamond engagement speculation
Zoë Kravitz’s bezel-set ring is being sized at 5 to 10 carats and roughly $500,000 to $600,000, a polished take on the big-stone, low-profile engagement trend.

Zoë Kravitz’s ring is exactly the kind of jewelry that makes the high-end engagement market snap to attention: a large diamond, likely in the 5- to 10-carat range, set in yellow gold with a bezel or semi-bezel finish that keeps the silhouette clean instead of flashy. That combination is why experts are putting the piece in the half-million-dollar conversation, with estimates landing around $500,000 to $600,000.
The strongest read is that this is not about maximal sparkle, but about disciplined luxury. Forbes said jewelry experts believe the stone could be between five and 10 carats, while TODAY’s experts pushed the estimate to 7 to 10 carats and called out a cushion or old mine cut in a gold bezel setting. Laura Taylor, speaking to Us Weekly, went narrower, sizing it at 5 to 6 carats, elongated cushion-cut, in yellow gold with a smooth bezel-style setting, and valuing it at up to $600,000. That spread tells you something useful: once a diamond gets this size, the setting and provenance matter almost as much as the carat count.
This is also the look buyers are asking for now. The commercial appeal is obvious. A bezel setting makes a stone feel modern and secure. Yellow gold softens the scale and gives the ring warmth. A larger diamond in a stripped-down frame reads more expensive than busy, especially when the cut is cushion, elongated cushion, or old mine rather than a hard-edged round brilliant. In custom work, that usually means more money going into the center stone and the craftsmanship around it, not into extra pave.

The ring first drew attention when Kravitz was photographed wearing it in London on April 21, 2026. By then, the couple had reportedly been linked since August 2025 and had been seen together in London, New York, and Rome. The speculation only hardened when Kravitz showed up at the Met Gala on May 4 with her left hand hidden. Page Six was first to report the engagement news, and later People-related coverage said Kravitz and Harry Styles shared the news with a small circle of friends. On May 8, Lenny Kravitz added a fist and heart emoji on Styles’ Instagram post, which fans took as family approval.
The ring also fits neatly into Kravitz’s own engagement history. PureWow reported that Karl Glusman proposed with an antique Georgian ring sourced by Mia Moross, while Channing Tatum gave her a 7-carat elongated cushion-cut ring designed by Jessica McCormack and valued at $278,000. This new ring sits between those two worlds, antique in spirit, modern in execution, and expensive enough to show why the cleanest rings are often the priciest.
