Bath & Body Works cuts Mother’s Day gifts 40% off, plus Vera Bradley collab
Bath & Body Works marked Mother’s Day with 40% off the entire store, including a $24.95 candle, a $59.95 fragrance and a $55 Vera Bradley tote set.

Bath & Body Works turned Mother’s Day into a clean value play, cutting the entire store by 40% and making scent-led gifts easy to justify. The retailer’s timing added real urgency: shoppers had to order by May 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET to get gifts by Mother’s Day, while Instacart and store-pickup orders were due by May 10 at 9 a.m. ET. With 123 items in the Mother’s Day assortment, the best buys were the ones that looked polished before the discount and looked even better after it.
The simplest winner was Gingham Gorgeous 3-Wick Candle, priced at $24.95. At 40% off, it saved $9.98 and dropped to about $14.97, which is exactly the kind of number that makes a candle feel like a considered gift instead of an afterthought. It is the strongest under-$25 pick because it works for almost anyone: the mom who likes a fresh room scent, the hostess who appreciates a tidy present, or the daughter building a basket without blowing past the budget.

For a more personal fragrance buy, Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau de Parfum sat at $59.95, which meant a $23.98 savings under the promotion. That is still a premium price, but it reads as a true signature-scent gift rather than a throw-in, especially for the recipient who already knows and wears Bath & Body Works fragrance. The brand’s gifts-for-her page also pushed body care as a spa-at-home Mother’s Day idea, reinforcing why the category remains one of its safest bets: it is practical, indulgent and easy to wrap into a larger present.
The sharpest bundle was the limited-edition Vera Bradley x Bath & Body Works tote gift set, built around Peach Blossom & Nectar. Bath & Body Works announced the collaboration March 20, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, and positioned it as a broader lineup spanning body care, home fragrance, home decor and accessories. The tote set was sold for $55 with a $40 purchase and was described as carrying a value of about $159.75, or roughly $160, with five Peach Blossom & Nectar pieces inside the Vera Bradley tote. One caveat matters: the tote itself was excluded from the 40% discount, so this was less a markdown than a high-value bonus bundle. Even so, it was the most giftable answer in the lineup, the sort of present that looks edited rather than assembled.
