MIBOOKO, the Warsaw-based AI storybook platform that previously sold exclusively in digital formats, added paperback and hardcover editions to its lineup on April 2, International Children's Book Day, with print prices starting at $24.99 in the US and £18.99 in the UK.

The expansion brings the total format count to four: ebook, paperback, hardcover, and audiobook. Digital editions, which start at $6.99, are delivered within 20 to 30 minutes of purchase. Print orders fulfill from local facilities in the US and UK, with global shipping available for international buyers.

"Parents made the signal clear: they wanted printed formats alongside digital. Paperback and hardcover are a direct response to that demand," the company said at the launch.

What distinguishes MIBOOKO's approach from simpler name-insertion products is the underlying story architecture. Each book adapts to a child's age, appearance, and personality traits, with story arcs informed by child psychologists and early-childhood specialists. Themes are deliberately developmental: confidence, emotional regulation, and resilience recur across the catalog rather than appearing as incidental flavor. The platform also incorporates content filters and hallucination-prevention safeguards specifically designed to keep AI-generated narrative coherent and age-appropriate, a meaningful design consideration given how unpredictably standard AI tools can behave when writing for young readers.

The audiobook format adds another layer: parents can opt for a cloned version of their own voice to narrate the story, positioning MIBOOKO closer to a family ritual than a commodity purchase. A subscription option delivers new personalized stories weekly, biweekly, or monthly, and a Mystery Book Box delivers three books at a time as part of a 21-episode serialized adventure.

The print launch carries explicit gifting intent. MIBOOKO frames hardcover editions as keepsakes for birthdays, developmental milestones, and graduations. In the competitive personalized children's book market, where print-first competitors have long held an advantage because physical books convert more naturally as gifts, the print addition removes the category's most significant barrier to gifting consideration.

The $24.99 entry price positions the product competitively within the premium personalized book segment. The differentiation MIBOOKO is betting on is depth: a story that accounts for a child's age, personality, and developmental stage rather than simply placing their name on the cover. MIBOOKO operates under EU data privacy standards out of Poland, with a distributed global creative team.
