Picaboo Adds Blankets, Magnets, and Yard Signs to Personalized Gift Lineup
Six months after its acquisition, Picaboo launched photo blankets, magnets, and weather-resistant yard signs targeting graduation season.

A 50-by-60-inch fleece blanket printed with a family photo is one of those gifts that sounds obvious until you try to order one from a platform that actually makes it easy. Picaboo, based in Princeton, New Jersey, announced the launch of three new personalized product categories: custom blankets, photo magnets, and yard signs. All three are aimed at spring's crowded gifting calendar, with graduations, birthdays, milestones, and special announcements cited as the primary occasions.
The Arctic Fleece blankets come in two sizes, 50×60 and 60×80, made from 100% polyester fleece. Shutterfly and Snapfish have offered comparable fleece photo blankets for years, so Picaboo's differentiation rests primarily on its updated workflow. Alongside the products, the company launched "My Photos," a feature that gives customers a simpler, more flexible way to view, manage, and reuse the photos they've uploaded over time. For returning users, that means no re-uploading the same holiday portrait for every new project order. An improved mobile uploader supports the same goal, reducing the steps between a camera roll and a finished product.
The custom photo magnets allow customers to showcase favorite snapshots in vibrant, durable formats ideal for fridges, lockers, and workspaces. They work as add-ons to a graduation gift or as a set for someone furnishing a first apartment after a move. They fill a category that tends to get sidelined on larger photo platforms, where minimum order requirements and complex design tools can make a simple set of fridge magnets feel like more effort than it warrants.
The personalized yard signs offer a bold, weather-resistant way to celebrate graduations, birthdays, milestones, and special announcements. Local print shops and banner services handle these types of orders but rarely connect them to a photo personalization workflow. Picaboo's online process lets customers upload a photo, customize text, and review a digital proof before placing an order, which is a meaningful convenience advantage for a product you typically need quickly. The timing reflects a deliberate strategic move: Picaboo was acquired by Entourage Yearbooks in September 2025, and Entourage has identified graduation memorabilia as a core focus of the combined company. A yard sign with a senior portrait is precisely the product that bridges a cap-and-gown photo and a front-lawn party display.
"These new products expand our mission of helping people celebrate life's moments in creative and personal ways," the Picaboo team said.
Founded in 2002, Picaboo has accumulated customers who have used the platform for 15 years and through 40-plus photobook projects. The additions of blankets, magnets, and yard signs extend that repeat-purchase relationship into gifting categories the company previously left to competitors, arriving just as the spring season that justifies all three is underway.
