Next’s latest beauty-box drop is built around one simple pitch: serious value. The strongest play is the Get The Glow Makeup Beauty Box, worth more than £94 and priced at £22, followed by the Next x Shay & Blue Discovery Box, worth £113 and priced at £45. For gift buyers, that is the real decision point: maximum savings, or a more fragrance-led present with a stronger premium feel.

Next has framed the category as “unbeatable value with premium products,” and its makeup page calls the boxes “an exciting way to try new makeup products and discover your new favourites, all at once.” That promise landed alongside a broader April beauty-box rollout, not a one-off launch. The retailer also listed a Clarins Prime and Glow Beauty Box worth £80, while a Next Scent Infusion Beauty Box had already appeared on March 30 for £25 with This Works, Stoneglow, Shay & Blue, Lancôme and Bath & Body Works.

The Get The Glow box is the clearest value winner. Its mix of Spectrum Collections, NUDESTIX, Delilah, OPI and ICONIC London gives it the look of a proper beauty cabinet reset rather than a filler gift set. At £22, it offers more than £72 in savings and a value-to-price ratio that is unusually strong for a high-street beauty bundle. This is the box for someone who likes experimenting with makeup, but does not want to gamble on one full-size product. Next is blunt about its appeal too: “They make the perfect gift.”

The Shay & Blue box is the smarter choice if fragrance matters more than palettes. Priced at £45, it brings together a discovery set with matching hand and body products, which makes the present feel more complete than a lone perfume sample. The £113 stated value gives it a strong premium slant, and Shay & Blue’s earlier appearance in the £25 Scent Infusion box shows Next is treating the brand as a recurring part of its seasonal edit rather than a one-off inclusion.

Clarins gives the lineup a more classic gift option. The Prime and Glow Beauty Box, worth £80, contained seven cult products, which works out at about £11.43 of value per item. That makes it the best fit for someone who wants a polished, low-risk beauty gift with a familiar prestige name attached. In this April edit, Next has made the choice unusually easy: Get The Glow for the sharpest discount, Shay & Blue for scent lovers, and Clarins for the safest luxury-leaning present.
