Ulta Memorial Day sale offers beauty stock-up savings and free tote
Ulta’s Memorial Day sale paired $10 off $50 or $20 off $100 with a free insulated tote, making beauty stock-ups feel gift-worthy.

Ulta’s Memorial Day weekend sale had the rare mix of practical savings and giftable extras that makes a beauty buy feel considered instead of impulsive. The promotion hub listed the stock-up event through May 25, and the strongest offer was the MDW coupon: $10 off a qualifying $50 purchase or $20 off a qualifying $100 purchase, valid from May 21 through May 25 and good on prestige and fragrance.
The catch was narrow enough to matter. The coupon excluded Dyson, CHANEL, N°1 DE CHANEL and clearance, and Ulta said transaction-level coupons could not be combined with other transaction-level Ulta coupons. Even so, the sale still had room to build a polished self-care gift basket, especially with marked-down staples that feel more useful than flashy. Kiss lashes were 30% off, Clinique serums and moisturizers were $15 off, select K-beauty skin care was discounted by up to 30%, La Roche-Posay select products were 20% off, Exuviance was 40% off and Pureology select products were 30% off.
The best present-worthy move was to pair those discounts with Ulta’s gift-with-purchase offers. Members who bought select $35 suncare brands could get a free insulated tote through June 6, while supplies lasted, a freebie that feels far more useful than a throwaway tote because it actually fits summer sunscreen, travel minis or a beach-day kit. Ulta also listed a free Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Dewy liquid blush with a $35 Rare Beauty purchase, a cleaner gift idea than a random add-on because it gives the recipient a single standout item rather than a cluttered bundle.

Ulta’s rewards program made the math even better. The retailer said it had more than 42 million members, with points earned on every dollar spent and bonus-point offers that can be activated in the app. That kind of loyalty structure is what turns a one-off beauty haul into a true stock-up, especially heading into Memorial Day, which fell on Monday, May 25. With many holiday sales starting one to two weeks early and the best deals often landing Friday or Saturday, Ulta’s mix of coupons, markdowns and free gifts was built for shoppers who wanted their self-care spending to look deliberate, not indulgent.
