Ulta Beauty leaned into basket-building with a free six-piece gift tied to a select $60 shipped purchase, and this is the kind of GWP that makes sense for anyone already restocking the basics. The set brought together a mini Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown, Lancôme Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Mascara, Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out, an Estée Lauder primer, tarte Maracuja Juicy Melt Mask in Icing and Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish in Dolly.

The catch was straightforward, and very Ulta: the gift had to be added to the bag, it was online only, and it turned free only after $60 or more in qualifying merchandise was in the shipped portion of the order. Pickup and same-day delivery did not qualify, one non-UB Marketplace item had to be in the cart, and if the threshold was missed, Ulta said the gift would ring up at $60. It was limited to one per customer while quantities lasted.

That is what makes this a better deal than the average single-item beauty freebie. A six-piece set built around recognizable prestige brands has real utility if your cart already includes the things people actually replace: mascara, brow pencil, lip color, lip treatment and primer. It is especially good for the shopper who treats a gift-with-purchase like a nudge to refill what is already empty instead of a reason to buy extra clutter.

Ulta also layered in two more offers that made the threshold game more interesting. One was BOPIS20, which took 20% off 160-plus brands when ordering online and picking up in store, through May 10, 2026. The other was a member-exclusive free Mother’s Day tote with a $70 fragrance purchase; Ulta’s promotions page listed that through May 10, while the gifts-with-purchase hub extended it through May 16, 2026 for signed-in rewards members only. That tote offer also excluded UB Marketplace items and partial shipped or same-day delivery purchases.

For shoppers who were already planning a stock-up, the math was good. Ulta Rewards were free to join, open to U.S. residents age 13 and older, and points could be redeemed starting at 100 points, which made the whole setup feel less like a one-off perk and more like a loyalty push built to steer bigger, better-timed carts.
