The Picklr Opens Indoor Pickleball Hub in West Allis This April
West Allis gets 10 climate-controlled pickleball courts on April 11, and players who sign up by opening day lock in a lifetime founder rate.

Milwaukee-area players have spent too many Wisconsin winters hunting for gymshare court time and squeezing onto the Wisconsin Athletic Club's four outdoor asphalt courts at West Allis. That changes Saturday. The Picklr opens its 10-court indoor facility at 2550 S. 108th St., the former Dunham's Sports building, on April 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing the region's largest dedicated pickleball footprint to a single address.
The 30,000-square-foot space features 10 fully fenced courts laid with The Picklr's patent-pending outdoor-style surfacing, a full pro shop, private event areas, and locker rooms with showers. The facility also carries AI coaching through Wingfield court technology and access to an ERNE ball machine, tools typically reserved for club-level training programs. Hours run 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week, meaning early-morning grinders and late-night bangers both have a home.
Saturday's grand opening runs the full format: all-day open play, skills challenges, court technology demonstrations, and raffles and prizes throughout the five-hour window. More urgently for anyone who plays regularly, the Founder Membership deadline closes with the grand opening. Players who sign up on or before April 11 lock in a lifetime discounted rate on The Picklr's unlimited membership, which covers open play, leagues, tournaments, and four monthly clinic passes across every Picklr location nationwide. Court reservations, leagues, and tournaments can be booked through The Picklr's app, with seven-day advance booking available for members.
"Bringing a Picklr to West Allis means the pickleball community here will now have a second best-in-class indoor pickleball experience offered in the greater Milwaukee area," said Amy Guerrero, Marketing Director for Murko Capital, the franchisee operating the location.
West Allis is the third Wisconsin outpost for The Picklr, following Green Bay in February 2025 and Menomonee Falls in August 2025. Murko Capital has publicly confirmed plans for eight total Wisconsin locations, with West Allis completing a run of three. The Kaysville, Utah-based franchise is also targeting three more Milwaukee-area sites, making West Allis the first node in what the company describes as a four-facility regional network.
"This is the third of eight planned locations that The Picklr will have in the state of Wisconsin," a company spokesperson confirmed. "Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the nation and demand for indoor pickleball courts has continued to grow."
For players who have been working around seasonal gym schedules or waiting out spring mud on outdoor courts, the math is straightforward: 10 courts, six days a week of 17-hour windows, and a Founder rate that disappears after Saturday. Walk-ins can reach the facility at 414-710-2872.
