CDL completes Atlanta Major III Pro-Am roster with all 12 teams
The CDL has locked in a rare Pro-Am crossover in Atlanta, with all 12 league teams and four Challengers squads chasing the Major III trophy.

The Call of Duty League has turned Major III into a true crossover test, locking in a Pro-Am field that puts all 12 CDL teams on the same stage with four Call of Duty Challengers squads at DreamHack in Atlanta. The weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center, set for May 15-17, carries more than a title chase. It is a pressure check for the entire bracket, with creator names like P7Notorious, esports_ROC, OMiTNoir and Huntsmen adding extra buzz to a field built for surprises.
The Pro-Am Classic is back for the first time since the 2023 season, and its return gives Challengers rosters a rare shot to measure themselves against every CDL team in a live Major setting. The league’s format sends four Challengers teams into the mix, with those spots coming through Major II’s Open and the North America and Europe Elite Season 3 winners. That structure makes the event more than a showcase. It creates a path for lower-division squads to land a real upset and shake the shape of the playoff race heading into the final stretch of the season.

Major III sits inside a 2026 CDL campaign that runs from Dec. 5, 2025, through July 19, 2026, and includes four Major tournaments. The Major III qualifiers are running from April 17 through May 10, with the bracket following immediately in Atlanta. That timing gives the Pro-Am added weight, because the teams entering the stage are not only playing for placement, but also for momentum at a point in the season when every map counts.
The current Major III qualifier standings list OpTic Texas, FaZe Vegas, Los Angeles Thieves, Paris Gentle Mates, Toronto KOI, Vancouver Surge, Miami Heretics, Riyadh Falcons, Carolina Royal Ravens, G2 Minnesota, Boston Breach and Cloud9 New York in the race. With that field already taking shape, the crossover format opens the door for unfamiliar matchups and sudden pressure swings that regular league play does not always produce.
For Atlanta, the appeal is clear: one venue, one weekend, and a bracket that mixes CDL contenders with Challengers teams hungry for a breakthrough. If a challenger roster catches fire, the ripple effects could reach far beyond Major III.
