BIGFACE and Fellow launch limited-edition, numbered espresso machine drop
Only 100 numbered BIGFACE x Fellow espresso machines are dropping April 21, turning Fellow’s $1,999.95 Series 1 into a collector-style flex.

BIGFACE and Fellow are turning a home espresso machine into a numbered collectible, with just 100 units of the BIGFACE x Fellow Series 1 set to go on sale April 21 at $1,999.95 apiece. The drop was unveiled April 13 and is pitched less like a routine equipment release than a scarcity play, complete with individually numbered machines and BIGFACE’s blunt framing: “100 machines. Each numbered. No second chances.”
The collaboration takes Fellow’s first espresso machine and pushes it into celebrity-drop territory. Fellow launched the original Espresso Series 1 in April 2025 as its first espresso machine, and the BIGFACE edition keeps the core hardware intact while adding the kind of brand cachet that usually surrounds sneakers, watches, or limited apparel. The standard black Series 1 is listed at $1,499.95, so the BIGFACE version carries a $500 premium before scarcity even enters the equation.
That premium buys more than a different finish. Fellow says the Series 1 is built around temperature, pressure, and flow stabilization, with assisted milk steaming, guided recipes, and manual mode for users who want control. The machine also uses Fellow’s Boosted Boiler architecture, three heating elements, and a commercial-style heated grouphead, with a warm-up time of about two minutes. Fellow backs it with a 2-year standard warranty, and offers an extension option, which makes the machine feel engineered for repeat use even as the branding pushes it toward collector status.
The pairing makes sense for both sides. BIGFACE grew out of Jimmy Butler’s coffee side hustle during the NBA bubble and has since become a full coffee and lifestyle brand, while Fellow has built its name on design-forward gear that already carries a strong enthusiast following. Fellow describes the partnership as born from Butler’s obsession with the espresso ritual, and the move extends a relationship that began with the 2023 Ultimate Road Kit, a limited travel setup that sold out quickly. This time, the brands have moved from portable brew gear to a statement appliance built for the countertop, not the carry-on.
That shift is the story beneath the launch. A machine like this is aimed at people who want their espresso setup to signal taste as loudly as it grinds beans. For Butler, it deepens BIGFACE as a lifestyle label with real hardware behind it. For Fellow, it tests how far a precision brewer can travel into collector culture without losing the credibility that home espresso buyers expect. Fellow is also running a giveaway for one limited edition machine, open to legal U.S. residents 18 and older who sign up for Fellow Drops by April 14, adding another layer of urgency around a release built on access, status, and deliberate shortage.
