Naysayer Coffee has opened a second Napa location at 2022 Redwood Road, adding an 800-square-foot neighborhood cafe designed to serve local residents rather than tourist traffic. The shop opened in mid-January 2026, with a photo dated Jan. 16, 2026 showing the newly opened space, and coverage elsewhere describing the timing as mid-January.

The Redwood Road cafe sits in a shopping center next to Creations Fine Jewelers and targets the daily needs of nearby families and commuters. The owners, Chris and Beth Vecera, said the new retail outpost was deliberately chosen to be "in an area close to schools, where parents can do a quick stop" and to offer a casual place where neighbors can gather. The second shop is intended to complement Naysayer’s growing roasting operation and to deepen the business’s local footprint.

Design and equipment reflect the brand’s small-cafe approach. The interior uses natural-wood shelving and surfaces to offset black accents and white walls, a signature look that ties back to the first cafe. "Whereas [the first location] is the blue shop, Redwood Road is going to be the green shop, but it still looks like a Naysayer," said Vecera. The shop features "café equipment chosen for both quality and barista-friendliness (examples cited include a Slayer Steam E)," emphasizing tools that support consistent, approachable service.

The Veceras trace Naysayer’s origins to pandemic-era home delivery. During the shutdown, "Beth and Chris personally delivered bottled lattes door-to-door throughout Napa. Naysayer became a home delivery service for locals during the shutdown. The relationship built between the business and locals built the groundwork for their first brick-and-mortar location. In 2022, they opened their first Naysayer" at 1813 Old Sonoma Road in the Food City shopping center. Chris, a Napa native who returned to the area in 2018, credited local support during that period: "We wouldn’t have survived the pandemic if Napa wasn’t so local-minded."

Community-building and partnerships are central to the new location’s mission. "We love creating spaces to foster authentic community," wrote co-owner Chris Vecera. "North Napa is such a residential hub, and we want to give this side of town a space to feel like they can breathe deep and enjoy excellent coffee with their neighbors and friends." Vecera also described a willingness to collaborate with other small businesses: "I really love partnering with other people, elevating and supporting other businesses and coffee programs as well. It’s definitely a goal to find other businesses that are interested in serving local products, partnering with small businesses that are serving super high-quality coffee in a casual approach."

Photos of the new shop and a mural have been released by Naysayer, and a photo from Jan. 16, 2026 credited to Beth Schlanker documents the opening. A Napavalleyregister caption names Aldo Hernandez, Sarah Richmond, and Chris Vecera in an image from the shop. For readers in North Napa, the new location means another convenient spot for high-quality coffee, quick stops before school drop-offs, and a neighborhood atmosphere.
