Baldur’s Gate 3 cookbook A Feast for a Tenday arrives in 2026

An official Baldur’s Gate 3 cookbook is exactly the kind of collectible that turns attachment to a game into table culture, and A Feast for a Tenday is leaning all the way into that appeal. Penguin Random House has set the 224-page hardcover for Nov. 3, 2026, at $38, with recipes that follow the party from the Wilderness to the Underdark, through the Shadow-Cursed Lands and into Baldur’s Gate itself.

The pitch is smartly specific. PRH says the book contains 65 dishes inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3, along with original chapter-opener illustrations and 45 recipe hero photographs. The recipes are organized by course and camp location, and some dishes are marked Romanceable, a bit of branding that ties the food back to the game’s party dynamics instead of treating Faerûn like a vague fantasy backdrop. That makes the book feel built for the same people who plan game nights, host D&D dinners, or want a centerpiece gift that reads as in-joke and showpiece at the same time.

Andrew Wheeler is a fitting author for that job. PRH identifies him as the writer of the multi-volume Dungeons & Dragons Young Adventurers’ Guides series, and his bibliography also includes Dungeon Master’s Workbook of Worldbuilding, Player’s Workbook of Epic Adventures, The Warriors & Wizards Compendium, and Puncheons and Flagons. PRH also notes that Wheeler has written about British food and a column about sauce for Serious Eats, which helps explain why this project feels like more than a simple tie-in. He knows both the lore and the kitchen.

The cookbook also lands inside a much larger licensed publishing machine. PRH’s Dungeons & Dragons series page places A Feast for a Tenday among 46 titles in the broader D&D line, alongside other Baldur’s Gate 3 books such as The Official Baldur’s Gate 3 Coloring Book and Baldur’s Gate 3: The Necromancy of Thay. It follows the same lane that Heroes’ Feast carved out, with Flavors of the Multiverse offering 76 recipes and Legends of the Table pushing that formula to 80 recipes organized around classes and locations.

The timing makes sense for a game that has become one of the franchise’s biggest cultural engines. Larian Studios says Baldur’s Gate 3 has won more than 200 Game of the Year awards, and The Game Awards confirmed its 2023 Game of the Year win. A Feast for a Tenday is built for that kind of fandom gravity, the sort that can move from camp supplies to a real kitchen and still feel like the same session when the last dish hits the table.
