Flite introduced the Fliteboard RACE during CES on January 5, positioning the model as a performance and competition machine developed in collaboration with Mercury Racing. The RACE's hardware changes are specific and performance driven. Flite fitted a custom RACE impeller designed for higher thrust, and paired it with FLITELab surf‑foiling wings from the Flux family. The board itself adopts a longer, narrower racing profile with optimized mast placement and a kicker tail to improve directional stability and high‑speed handling. Software and data features are part of the package. Flite added RACE‑specific functionality to the Flite App, including an APEX 250 leaderboard and telemetry streams for G‑force and lean angle.
