The practical bottleneck in scaling eFoil rental and demo programs has never been the board. It's the dock. Ritz Marine addressed that directly on March 27 when its Malta office announced authorised dealer status for NautiBuoy and SeaRaft inflatable platforms, two product lines that explicitly list eFoil docks among their supported use cases.

The announcement covers the Central Mediterranean market: Malta and Sicily, where Ritz Marine handles retail sales, product demonstrations, and post-sale support. For resort operators and charter companies planning summer 2026 eFoil programs, the timing gives them a local source for turnkey boarding infrastructure before peak season.

NautiBuoy's catalogue spans four platform sizes: 375, 525, 675, and 800. All are built on a drop-stitch core with Mehler German PVC and carry EN compliance certification. Finish options include teak-effect and non-skid surfaces, both relevant when riders are mounting or dismounting a foil board in salt water. The Voyager and Sports series address different integration needs: inline dock configurations for larger vessels and L-shaped configurations for more compact setups. Modular linking across units lets operators build out staging areas proportional to their fleet size.

Quick inflation and deflation is specifically flagged as operationally important for seasonal operators, and it matters more than it sounds for anyone who has managed eFoil battery swaps during a busy beach day. A platform that deploys and packs down in minutes changes the economics of running a mobile or multi-location demo program.

The deeper implication for Mediterranean eFoil operators is supply chain proximity. Physical boarding solutions have been a persistent friction point: inflatable platforms that are soft on foil parts and props, stable enough for guest mounting and dismounting, and configured for battery handling are relatively scarce in local markets. Ritz Marine's dealer arrangement brings NautiBuoy and SeaRaft into distribution range for the hotels, marinas, and charter operators building out eFoil experiences across Malta and Sicily this season. For any fleet operator still sourcing platforms from outside the region, a local dealer with post-sale support is a meaningful shift in what it takes to get a boarding zone in the water.
