North Launches 2026 Foils Collection With Nova Wings and New Integrated Boards
North's 2026 Foils Collection arrives with the Nova Pro promising a lighter, stiffer build over the standard Nova, anchored by an Ultra UHM 73 Carbon Sonar Mast.

North dropped its 2026 Foils Collection on March 14, calling it "our most comprehensive foil offering to date" and framing the entire lineup as an integrated ecosystem of wings, boards and foil components built to work together rather than as separate purchases.
The wing range is where the sharpest product distinction lives. The Nova stays positioned as the balanced freeride option, "stable, intuitive and adaptable across a wide wind range," delivering what North describes as "composed, predictable power when you need drive, and neutral drift when the swell takes over." The Nova Pro steps up from that platform through advanced materials and refined shaping, producing a "lighter, stiffer and more reactive feel" aimed at riders who want "sharper response and greater control at speed." Both wings were photographed by Samuel Cardenas for the collection launch. North's stated design target for the full wing range: "cleaner aerodynamics, balanced geometry, and instinctive handling across every condition."
The boards section carries the headline "Designed to Ride in Tune," with North describing the 2026 lineup as built around a single concept: "connection. Connection to the foil. Connection to the water. Connection to the moment." The collection title references Seek and Swell as board models within that lineup, though North has not yet published model-level specs or shaping details for either.

Beneath the waterline, the foil systems section introduces what North calls its latest evolution in hardware: the Ultra UHM 73 Carbon Sonar Mast, paired with the Speed S178v2 and Speed S208v2 stabilizers and the Freeride MA950v2 front wing. The brand describes these components as having been "shaped and refined on the water, where wind meets tide, and theory meets feel," with the goal of a foil setup that "disappears beneath you, leaving only the rhythm of the ocean and the freedom to follow it."
Across the full collection, North positions the 2026 range for powered freeride and surf, downwind exploration, light wind sessions and hands-free swell riding. No pricing, regional availability dates or technical specifications such as mast lengths, wing areas or aspect ratios were included in the launch materials.
