Bosque Brewing Closes All Taprooms, Brewing Moves to Marble
Albuquerque based Bosque Brewing Company closed all Bosque branded public houses after a federal judge dismissed the brewery's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, citing a lack of anticipated positive cash flow early in 2026. The closures affect multiple taprooms in Albuquerque, Bernalillo and Las Cruces, while production of Bosque beer will continue under Marble Brewery as the company focuses on supporting impacted staff.

Bosque Brewing Company announced the immediate closure of all Bosque branded public houses on December 26, 2025 after a federal judge dismissed the brewery's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. The judge's decision followed a recommendation from the U.S. trustee and noted the company did not anticipate sufficient positive cash flow early in 2026 to satisfy creditors. With heavy hearts, we are closing all Bosque branded Public Houses.
The company scheduled immediate shuttering of multiple taprooms across Albuquerque, Bernalillo and Las Cruces, leaving a sudden gap in the local taproom landscape. Bosque said beer will continue to be brewed by Marble Brewery, a move that should keep Bosque brands in regional distribution even as public houses close. The company also said it would focus on supporting impacted staff during the transition.
The closures arrive amid a broader industry contraction that has put pressure on regional and local breweries. Bankruptcy filings revealed sizable liabilities that the company faced while attempting to reorganize, and the court determined the near term financial outlook would not generate enough cash to meet creditor obligations. That combination of heavy liabilities and soft near term cash flow spelled the end of Bosque's public house operations under its own management.
For customers, the change means Bosque branded beer may remain available in stores and on draft, but taproom experiences and community gathering spots will disappear for now. Verify availability with Marble Brewery and with local retailers before making plans for specific beers or events. Follow Bosque and Marble for updates on distribution and instructions about where to find particular cans or draft lines.

For staff and vendors affected by the closures, Bosque indicated it would prioritize transition support. Check local hiring listings and brewery social channels for notices about open positions and opportunities to assist former Bosque employees. For community organizers and event planners, confirm bookings and beer line logistics as Bosque taproom venues go offline.
The shutdown is a reminder of the fragility of taproom dependent business models and the importance of local support for breweries balancing on tight margins. Bosque's beer will live on in production, but the neighborhood spaces that hosted tastings, releases and community events will be missed while the company and the region adjust.
