DC Beer Fest Returns to Nationals Park for Spring Seasonal Pours in April
More than 80 breweries bring over 200 beers to Nationals Park tomorrow in two $55 sessions of unlimited spring seasonal tastings.

More than 80 craft breweries will spread across Nationals Park on Saturday, turning the Southeast D.C. stadium into a concentrated spring tasting circuit with over 200 beers on pour and a $55 general admission ticket that covers unlimited samples.
The DC Beer Fest takes over multiple areas throughout the stadium's concourse, including Centerfield Plaza, the Budweiser Brew House, the Bud Light Loft, and the Budweiser Terrace. That geography matters in practice: with 80-plus breweries pouring, distributing the event across distinct stadium zones keeps foot traffic moving and gives attendees a reason to explore the full venue rather than cluster at a single hub.
The festival runs two sessions, noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. General admission is $55 and includes unlimited tastings, with food sold separately. All guests must be at least 21 to attend, and the event runs rain or shine with all sales final and no refunds or exchanges.
Alongside the taps, the festival features over a dozen food trucks, lawn games, DJs, and more. Dueling pianos and cover bands are also part of the entertainment programming throughout the park. The result is closer to a full afternoon or evening out than a straight tasting event, which explains why the two-session format draws such different crowds: the noon session trends toward casual afternoon drinkers, while the 5 p.m. slot tends to attract dedicated tasters working through the lineup systematically.
The spring seasonal angle is the thread that ties the participating breweries together. April is the window when regional craft producers are cycling out winter stouts and rolling out warm-weather releases: saisons, wheat beers, and fruit-forward ales built for outdoor drinking. The festival brings together more than 80 breweries from across the region and beyond, offering the chance to sample over 200 different beers, including a wide selection of spring seasonal favorites. Many of those pours won't see wide distribution, making the festival one of the more efficient ways to track what regional brewers are doing with the season.
For homebrewers in the crowd, walking 80 different interpretations of spring styles in three hours is the kind of field research that no amount of reading replaces. Brewery lineups and any last-minute session updates will post to the organizer's social channels ahead of doors. The festival takes place at Nationals Park, 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C.
