GoSelfDistro Launches Collective Platform Giving Self-Distributed Breweries a Voice
GoSelfDistro launched a collective platform to list self-distributed breweries with live inventory and contacts, helping bars and small brewers keep sales local amid regional consolidation.

GoSelfDistro rolled out a centralized platform aimed at giving self-distributed breweries and cideries a stronger, more visible route to market as consolidation reshapes Pacific Northwest distribution. The site combines a searchable directory with live inventory feeds, contact info and order forms so bars, restaurants and consumers can see what local breweries actually have on tap or in stock.
NewSchoolBeer reported the collective "is in its infancy, officially launching TODAY 2/4/26, with a handful of brands (Away Days Brewing, Oregon City Brewing, Montavilla Brew Works, Rosenstadt Brewery, and Old Town) and features. But this is just the start, with the word just beginning to get out about the project and many more brands likely to sign-up in the near future." The launch arrives as Columbia Distributing's acquisition of Point Blank Distributing has prompted concern across the craft scene. The Washington Beer Blog wrote, "The recent news that Columbia Distributing is acquiring Point Blank Distributing sent ripples through the Pacific Northwest craft brewing community" and warned readers to "Use your imagination" about the deal's effects.
Functionally, the GoSelfDistro site pulls in live inventory data from participating breweries so buyers "can see in-real time what each have in stock and all the contact info and/or order forms to complete the process," according to NewSchoolBeer. The site also includes a "text your rep" link, a feature NewSchoolBeer noted "as that option becomes increasingly popular as bars and restaurants develop personal [...]" The site navigation organizes listings under categories labeled "Oregon Brewers," "Oregon cideries" and "washington Brewers," and site copy emphasizes movement language such as "Why support our self-Distro collective?" and "a thirst for community."
Founder vision is explicit. NewSchoolBeer quotes Go Self Distro visionary Adam Milne: "There currently doesn’t exist one place for self-distro breweries/cideries to collectively list their offerings. Breweries send emails and sales reps go into establishments where we all separately sell our crafts. This is the first I know of where we have a place we can all come together." Milne added, "There isn’t education to retailers on WHY self-distro is important to our local community. I think of how the BA created the 'Independent' logo to build recognition and support for independent breweries. Why can’t there be a logo and movement to support self-distributed breweries/cideries? We are trying to keep 100% of sales truly independent."
GoSelfDistro lists four key goals on the site verbatim: "One Place to Find Real-Time Offerings and Sales Contacts for Self-Distro Breweries." "To Keep Independent Craft Beer & Cider 100% Independent." "To Make Sure Dollars Stay Local." "To Show that Who Delivers Your Beer Matters." Initial participants appear under mixed capitalization in site copy and in launch coverage, ranging from Away Days Brewing and Oregon City Brewing to montavilla Brew works, rosenstadt brewing, heck brewing, fortside brewing, salt creek cider house and blossom barn.
For taprooms, bar managers and restaurateurs, the platform offers a practical way to find product without wading through national distributor catalogs that can bury small brands. For brewers, it is a coordinated effort to preserve local sales, visibility and control in a market where, as the Washington Beer Blog put it, "the biggest are getting bigger." Expect the roster to grow as more self-distributed brewers sign on and as GoSelfDistro refines inventory feeds and rep contact tools that cut paperwork and get beer into taps sooner.
