AdeptiCon 2026 Vendor Hall Hits: Creature Caster, Army Painter Draw Crowds
The Army Painter's Caleb Wissenback ran three 90-minute paint seminars at AdeptiCon 2026; Creature Caster debuted a paint range alongside a new Judgment miniature line.

The Army Painter's Booth #1104 at Milwaukee's Baird Center was visible from well across the vendor floor before most attendees had oriented themselves. What filled that footprint across five days was less a retail display and more a working hobby studio, one that ran paint education alongside product sales and made the stop one of the most trafficked at AdeptiCon 2026.
Painter Caleb Wissenback anchored three 90-minute seminars spread across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, each targeting a separate product line. Thursday covered Speedpaint 2.0 through slapchop, blending, glazing, and detailing. Friday shifted into the Warpaints Fanatic range with sessions on basecoating, mixing, and full-system miniature refinement. Saturday's class went airbrush-focused with Warpaints Air, covering directional basecoating, filtering, shading, and blending techniques. Every attendee walked out with the miniature they painted. For painters who missed the floor, Army Painter's channels are the logical next stop: seminar content has been surfacing as tutorial video in the weeks since the show.
For those evaluating Fanatic as a range upgrade, the full line was available for hands-on testing throughout the convention, with demo artists fielding questions about viscosity, drying time, and performance across skin tones and metallics. Speedpaint 2.0 is the faster-coverage entry point for anyone painting in volume. Both ranges are available through the Army Painter's online store, with the Fanatic Mega Paint Set as the most comprehensive starting point if you want the full system.
Saturday evening, the booth hosted the first-ever Trench Crusade and Army Painter joint preview, a live presentation at 8:00 p.m. that unveiled the Carcass Front box set alongside two Army Painter-side announces. One of those was a dedicated seven-paint bundle curated specifically for the grimdark Prussian aesthetic at the core of Trench Crusade's visual identity. For painters already in that game or eyeing the setting, that set is the fastest path to a cohesive warband without hand-selecting individual pots.

Creature Caster arrived at AdeptiCon 2026 with more than its daemon miniature catalog. The booth put the company's own paint range and the new Judgment miniature line on display, a move that reframes Creature Caster as something closer to a full hobby ecosystem than a sculptural imprint. Limited-edition items drove repeated traffic through the weekend, and the centerpiece display models functioned as live proof of the paint range's ceiling. For painters working on large resin display pieces or daemon-adjacent models, the Creature Caster range is worth evaluating as a house paint line before defaulting to the standard big-box alternative; check the company's social channels for post-show shop drops.
The two companies also collaborated off their booths: Army Painter team members joined Creature Caster to judge the Resin Beast painting competition, one of AdeptiCon's recurring showcase events for display-level painters. SprayGunner occupied Booth #1103, directly adjacent to the Army Painter setup, making that stretch of the Baird Center floor the most airbrush- and paint-dense corridor of the show. Vendor inventory from AdeptiCon typically filters into wider distribution in the weeks following the convention, which means the window to catch new SKUs while they're fresh is right now.
