Jigglystix Creations has turned its Summer 2026 paint contest into more than a prize drawing. The top reward gives one winner the chance to design a custom mini for the next release, which makes the event feel like a bridge between the painting table and the studio’s future product line.

The contest ran from May 1 through July 31, 2026, and entries qualified as long as they were painted and submitted within that window. Painters could use any Jigglystix model from any point in the catalogue, a rule that opens the door to old favorites, fresh prints, and overdue shelf-of-shame projects. Kitbashing, added basing, and scaled models were also allowed, as long as a Jigglystix miniature remained the clear main subject. That flexibility makes the contest viable for clean tabletop work and more ambitious display pieces alike.

Judging rested on creativity and execution, with the moderator team, guest judges, and the creator reviewing entries. The prize structure was straightforward: the grand prize included a miniature commission plus $100, while three runners-up each received $50. Jigglystix also made clear that no patronage was required, so the contest was open beyond paying supporters and not locked behind a subscription wall.

That open door matters in a studio already built around a steady release rhythm. Jigglystix Creations describes itself as a digital character sculptor making 3D printable statues and monthly themed miniatures. The creator says each monthly drop includes five models, generally in 32mm and 75mm scales, with supported and unsupported files and Lychee files included for releases. A painting contest gives that pipeline a second life, turning digital sculpts into finished minis that can circulate as reference, inspiration, and proof of what the range looks like when paint hits resin or filament.

The Summer 2026 contest also sits inside a recurring pattern. Jigglystix has run earlier painting contests in Winter 2023, Summer 2024, and Summer 2025, with prior summer deadlines set at midnight EST on June 30, 2025 and July 3, 2024. That history gives the new contest a familiar shape, but the custom-mini prize raises the stakes by letting a painter help steer what arrives next. Questions were being routed through comments, Discord, Patreon, or MyMiniFactory, keeping the event anchored in the same community spaces where the studio already posts releases and gathers its audience.
