The Charm of Succession got its most significant structural rework in recent memory: Pearl Abyss split the awakened enhancement track into ten distinct levels in Black Desert Mobile's April 7 patch, alongside five seasonal events that run through late April.

The redesign keeps total stats and the required quantity of Sealed Charms of Succession unchanged, but players can now move through each of those ten levels incrementally rather than jumping between broader enhancement tiers. For anyone grinding Combat Power in the endgame bracket, the granular breakdown means more visible progress on each session and a smoother climb through what has historically been one of the game's steeper gear walls.

Buried deeper in the patch notes is a retroactive pity mechanic tied to the newly introduced Ancient Anvil gauge. All failed upgrade and petscension attempts made between November 1, 2025 and the upcoming April 14 maintenance will be absorbed into the gauge automatically. Once an account's accumulated failures hit the threshold, the next attempt is guaranteed to succeed. Pearl Abyss has not yet published the exact thresholds; those figures are slated to appear in the April 14 patch notes.

On the seasonal side, Cherry Blossom events launched alongside the patch with the tightest deadline going to Make Cherry Blossom Snack Boxes, which closed Monday April 13 at 22:30. The Great Library of Calpheon Tour Missions and Cherry Blossom Season both run through April 19 at 23:59, while Get-Together Special Missions and the Black Shrine Challenge stay open one day longer, closing April 20 at 22:30. The Great Library itself was introduced in the March 17 Remaster update, where players can read up to 20 books daily at the Holy College of Calpheon to earn Adventure and Academic Knowledge; the Tour Missions layer event rewards onto that existing system.

O'dyllita also received targeted improvements, and a round of quality-of-life fixes and error corrections rounded out the patch. Pearl Abyss staggered maintenance across regions: Americas ran from 22:30 April 6 to 01:30 April 7 (UTC-8), Europe from 07:30 to 10:30 (UTC+1), and Asia from 14:30 to 17:30 (UTC+8). Timed buff durations were extended by 180 minutes to offset the downtime, and items like Harmony Scrolls and Fortune Scrolls were protected from ticking down during the window.

With the Ancient Anvil thresholds still unrevealed and the April 14 maintenance already penciled in, this patch functions as much as a setup for the week ahead as a standalone update.
