Clash of Clans Adds Dragon Duke, Greedy Raven and Gold Pass Overhaul
Players hunting a new frontline Hero and a redesigned season pass can free Dragon Duke during a Feb 24–Mar 1 community event and use the rebuilt Gold Pass starting March 1, 2026.

Players hunting a new frontline Hero and a redesigned season pass can free the Dragon Duke during a community dungeon event running from February 24 to March 1, 2026, and the rebuilt Gold Pass goes live on March 1, 2026. Supercell published the February patch notes on February 23 and pushed the update to live servers around that date, kicking off the week’s event schedule and season changes.
The new Hero is billed under Supercell’s headline “Unleash Dragon Duke!” and the developer teases: “Meet the Dragon Duke, a fearsome frontline Hero with unique mechanics and a very understandable grudge against locked doors. He’s currently imprisoned deep beneath the village, and it’s up to you to break him out.” Supercell’s event copy explains the community activity: “From February 24th to March 1st, players will take part in a special community event, navigating a dungeon maze filled with doors, rewards, and hopefully not too many questionable decisions. Choose wisely. Find the right path. Free the Dragon.” Community reporting on Reddit claims the Dragon Duke will be “available at TH15” and that he’ll start with “3 common equipments,” but that unlock level and equipment counts are community-sourced and not confirmed in Supercell’s extracted lines.
Supercell also announced a full Gold Pass rebuild, saying “we rebuilt the Gold Pass from the ground up to make it feel more modern, more rewarding to play through, and better balanced for both Silver and Gold Pass players.” The short-version features named in coverage include Choice Nodes to pick rewards that fit your village, Hoggy Bank replacing the old Season Bank, and the Prospector helper for Town Hall 10+ players. Pocket Gamer summarizes Hoggy Bank as a mechanic that “starts full and pays out at the end of the season,” and describes Prospector as a helper that “quietly converts ores each day if you’ve reached Town Hall 10 or higher.” The new pass layout is scheduled to go live on March 1, 2026.
Late-game players also get a wave of Town Hall 18 upgrades alongside a new pet. Supercell’s update copy references “shiny new Town Hall 18 upgrades,” and Pocket Gamer notes “a wave of level upgrades has arrived across defences, troops, and spells, alongside Greedy Raven – a new flying pet that targets resource buildings like it has a personal vendetta against your opponent’s loot storage.” Sportskeeda repeats that the February update introduces both a Hero and a Pet and lists the same community event dates.

Teasers and community reaction preceded the release. Termynater’s YouTube teaser posted February 22 showed a chained dragon and volcano imagery and carried the line “Rage Level: Increasing,” and his video noted dragons flying around a volcano. Reddit’s r/ClashOfClans thread titled “February Update Sneak Peek #3: NEW HERO - Dragon Duke” reposted the teaser text and community screenshots.
Supercell included a verbatim Promotion % table in the patch content showing entries such as Archer 8 moving from 25 to 30, Witch 18 moving from 20 to 30, Dragon 29 moving from 15 to 20, and Electro Dragon 32 moving from 10 to 15. The extracted notes do not explain what “Promotion %” measures, so that table’s in-game context requires clarification from Supercell. Players can expect the Fancy Shop to gain a new decoration with the Crafted Defenses season starting April 1, 2026, while the community event window and the March 1 Gold Pass launch will dictate what changes hit village progression immediately.
