The hybrid hit works because every trip into the Blue Hole feeds Bancho’s sushi counter, so the mobile version needs to feel fast, readable, and natural if it wants to land as more than a curious port.

Mintrocket confirmed the release during its Dev Dive showcase on June 11, 2026, while also using the event to mark the game’s third anniversary. The same showcase put two other pieces of news in front of fans, including the upcoming In the Jungle DLC, set for June 18, 2026, and a fresh look at Godzilla Defense Force: X. Even so, Dave the Diver was the headline item for mobile players because it finally puts a worldwide date on a version that had already shown up on smartphones in China.

That China launch matters. Nexon said DAVE THE DIVER arrived on PC and mobile in China on February 6, 2026, and that the mobile release drew more than 1.5 million TapTap pre-orders before it went live.
