Deadline Roblox Shooter Update 0.25.2 Brings Grenade and Weapon Rebalances
RECOIL Group's 0.25.2 patch rewires grenade arcs and recoil for every Deadline player at once. No reinstall needed; just launch and adapt.

RECOIL Group pushed version 0.25.2 of Deadline to all players on March 27, and anyone who loaded up the Roblox FPS since then has already been playing with a different grenade and a retuned weapon sandbox, whether they knew it or not.
The update, which the experience page logged as "Actualizada 27/3/2026," adjusted grenade spawn behavior and damage falloff while also reworking recoil curves and attachment interactions across the weapon roster. The changes hit mobile, console, and PC players at the same moment. Since Deadline runs inside Roblox rather than as a standalone client, there was no patch to download and no version mismatch to navigate. Players who launched the experience post-update were already inside the new build.
That simultaneous rollout matters most on mobile. Unlike a traditional app update that sits in a store queue, this kind of platform-level patch means grenades already arc differently and attachments already interact with recoil along new rules, regardless of whether a player noticed. Deadline's touch-screen throw mechanics, specifically the swipe versus tap inputs, are directly tied to grenade arc calculations, so the damage falloff adjustments in 0.25.2 carry real consequences for anyone who built habits around specific throwing distances.
Community documentation moved quickly. A Deadline-focused creator posted a full breakdown video on YouTube within hours of the update going live, working through every balance change and demonstrating the new grenade arc behavior against live targets. That video has since become reference material alongside Deadline wiki changelog entries for players recalibrating sensitivity and rethinking attachment loadouts.
The pace matters because Deadline is still in early access. RECOIL Group's own listing warns that player data may be wiped before the experience reaches full release, and 0.25.2 is a reminder of how fast the balance landscape can shift. Ranked server hosts and custom event organizers are among the first to absorb that pressure; a weapon tuning pass can invalidate prepared loadouts and alter competitive meta within a single session.
For players still adjusting, the fastest path is through the in-game patch notes and a creator breakdown video rather than trial and error in a competitive lobby. Testing grenade arcs in a casual or private match before returning to ranked play is the cleaner approach, particularly for mobile users working around the precision limits of touch input.
RECOIL Group has not announced a follow-up patch, but given Deadline's early access cadence, another round of tuning before full release remains well within the pattern established so far.
