Eterspire expands Bogtown Marsh with four new maps and a quest
Bogtown Marsh doubled in size, giving mid-level Eterspire players four new maps and two quests. The update adds real leveling room, not just extra scenery.

For active Eterspire players, the immediate payoff from the May 14 patch was simple: Bogtown Marsh stopped feeling like a short stopover and became a much larger mid-game route. The update added four new maps, Mossbeard Wetland, Abandoned Macondo City, Barren Shipyard, and Hollowed Tree, which lifted the region from four maps to eight and gave players in the 40-to-60 bracket more places to grind, quest, and move without bouncing out of the zone so quickly.
That matters because Bogtown Marsh was only introduced on April 27, when Stonehollow Workshop launched the swamp as the home of the goblins with The Murkwater Puddles, The Piranha River, The Hibiscus Manglar, and Bogtown. The new patch makes it clear the developers are not treating the area as a one-off content drop. Instead, Bogtown Marsh now looks like a live part of Eterspire’s world, with the kind of fast iteration that keeps mid-game players from hitting a dead end between bigger updates.

The quest additions sharpen that point. The marquee quest, To Cross, or to Double-Cross, is a level 43 pirate-treasure job that starts in Murkwater Puddles with Savvyknuckles. The other new quest, Beneath The Hollow Tree, is a level 67 mission that begins in Abandoned Macondo City with Stinkypinky and centers on a family relic. Together, they spread content across the zone’s level band, so Bogtown Marsh now serves both players entering the bracket and those pushing past it.
The patch was not only about extra monsters and quest markers. It also fixed several iOS crash issues and restored rain particles in maps where they had been disabled, which should matter to mobile players spending real time in the area. Stonehollow Workshop also said its June, July, and August roadmap would be shared the following week, while guilds were still in development and the Fishing Skill Rework was planned for the June 16 update.

For players deciding whether Bogtown Marsh is worth revisiting, the answer is clearer now than it was two weeks ago. This was not just padding on an existing swamp. It extended a mid-level zone that already had a strong identity, and it gave Eterspire’s leveling path more breathing room right where players needed it most.
