Heartopia launches first Winter Frost Season with My Little Pony collaboration
Heartopia launched its first Winter Frost Season, blanketing the island in snow, adding ice skating, new builds and cosmetics, and a My Little Pony collab confirmed for Feb 14.

Heartopia’s first seasonal event has arrived, turning the map into a snowy playground packed with new hobbies, build options and a confirmed My Little Pony collaboration that begins on 14 February, XD Games says. The Winter Frost Season brings ice and snow slides on Onsen Mountain, a figure-skating-focused rink, buildable home ice rinks and snowmen, fresh cosmetics and a layered event arc that nudges play toward social hangouts.
Most reporting places the active season from 31 January through 13 March, while one timeline also lists a Jan 24 prep phase and a March 14 close. The important takeaway for players: this is a late-January launch running into mid-March, and developers may still clarify official reset times and exact windows. XD Games has explicitly confirmed the Heartopia x My Little Pony collaboration and the seasonal Fashionwave Gift Boxes that can be purchased and levelled up.
Gameplay additions center on Onsen Mountain Park. Players will find ice and snow slides at the mountain top, and a skating rink designed for practicing figure-skating choreography. When you next log in you may receive a call from Atara; accepting it teleports you to the Ice Rink on the beach behind the Onsen Mountains, where stepping onto the ice gives the option to start Ice Skating. Ice Skating is a new Dream hobby, but the Ice Skating challenges are gated behind D.G Level 16 and require the Dream app.
A phased construction arc ties local community progression into the season. Helping NPC Eric with construction tasks and collecting nine stamps of approval will complete the Onsen Mountain Park build, unlocking the main Ice Rink and an Egg Machine (described as similar to a toy capsule machine). The Egg Machine and Fashionwave Gift Boxes are part of the new seasonal economy; Gift Boxes list Heart Diamonds, Exhibition Passes, building materials, a Fashionwave Penguin set and an exclusive skin for the steel tongue drum among their contents.

Seasonal quests expand social and cooperative play while introducing cold-themed ailments in different reports: one account frames the story around a “Frostspore Infection,” while another references a “Frostbore” sickness and related Frostbore set. New social mechanics include a two-person Friend-Interaction called “Frame The Winter” that unlocks between friends after seven days of interaction in some timelines. Concert programming is baked into the event, with opening and closing concerts each running a full week at the in-game concert venue; fireworks and vendor stalls selling handheld gear such as glow sticks will feature during those weeks.
Build-mode options include ice rink flooring and components to place mini-rinks and snowmen at home. You can shovel fallen snow to build snowmen and interact with large town snowmen to transform your avatar.
This season matters if you collect limited cosmetics, rely on social hangouts, or want to unlock the new Dream hobby. Check your D.G Level and have the Dream app ready if you want the Ice Skating challenges, accept Atara’s call to begin skating, help Eric to finish the park for the Egg Machine rewards, and watch for the Feb 14 My Little Pony drop if you chase collab items. Expect more patch-note clarifications from XD Games on exact timings and any additional collab details.
