Marvel Snap Feb 10 to 12 Patch Brings Light Nerfs, Developer Notes
Shang-Chi’s Ten Rings got a floor boost (Original Ten Rings now 2/2) and several small buffs landed in the Feb 12, 2026 OTA; update the app and expect the devs to watch Guardians cards and Shou Lou.

Players should update Marvel Snap now: the official OTA Balance Update dated February 12, 2026 applies a light patch that raises the power floor on several cards while leaving most nerfs minimal. The update changes the Original Ten Rings from 2/1 to 2/2 and the Unlocked Ten Rings from 2/2 to 2/3, buffs Groot and Mantis, adjusts Chamber, and tweaks Hammers-support cards; Marvel Snap’s site also reminds users, "PLEASE NOTE: If you haven’t updated your game yet, get the latest in the App Store!"
The developers opened the patch notes with a clear tone on scope and monitoring: "Hello everyone! Today’s OTA is going to be light on the nerfs, with mostly a handful of buffs aimed at bringing up the floor of a fair number of cards. We’re early in the Guardians season and thus we’re still collecting data on how those cards are performing. We’ll be keeping an eye on those cards’ total impact as well as Shou Lou after his previous nerf. For now things will be getting a fairly light touch, so let’s go ahead and jump in!"
Key explicit card changes listed in the notes include Chamber, The Ten Rings, Infinity Ultron, Groot, and Mantis. Chamber is recorded as "[Old] 2/3 – Activate: +2 Power for each 5-Cost or higher card you have here and in hand. [Change] 2/3 > 2/2 [...]". The Ten Rings (Original) is shown as "[Old] 2/1 – On Reveal: Give one of your other cards here +1 Power. [Change] 2/1 > 2/2" and The Ten Rings (Unlocked) as "[Old] 2/2 – End of Turn: Give your other cards here +1 Power. [Change] 2/2 > 2/3". Infinity Ultron appears as "5/6 – On Reveal: Add 2 of Ultron’s Stones to your hand. [...]". Groot moved from "[Old] 3/3 – On Reveal: If your opponent played a card here this turn, +4 Power. [Change] 3/3 > 3/4" and Mantis from "[Old] 1/2 – On Reveal: If your opponent played any cards here this turn, copy one of them into your hand.. [Change] 1/2 > 1/3".
Developers also framed changes for the Hammers archetype and Shang-Chi specifically. "We’re raising the floor on Shang-Chi’s rings. Naturally the most impact here is that the Original Ten Rings, which you draw every game, now has Power that is closer to a normal Two-Cost card that decks will play." The update’s Hammers rationale reads in full: "The Hammers deck is a beloved Marvel Snap strategy that has likely been long due for some buffs. Given our increase to the Power floor of many cards lately, it’s finally time to give King Eitri a third Power as well as improve the Power of Thor to make sure he doesn’t fall too far behind when your deck doesn’t fully capitalize on its Hammer triggers."
The patch includes technical and economy touches beyond card balance. Marvel Snap Zone and official snippets list "Currency Collection" tweaks, "ART, VFX, and AUDIO", and bug categories such as "Card and Location Art Fixes in 50.x", "Shop Fixes in 50.x", "Other Fixes in 50.x", "Localization Fixes in 50.x", "PC Fixes in 50.x", and "Captain Marvel Artgerm". Third-party Snap Fan fragments show in-store bundle fragments and percentages including examples like "Thanos Imperative New Avatar! CosmicBlack 6500 Credits 1500 Gold 310 Thanos Boosters ... $49.99 Bundle Value 366% Currency Value 153%" and similar bundle breakdown snippets.
The update leaves several items truncated in the posted excerpts and flagged for follow-up: the Chamber line ends with an ellipsis, Infinity Ultron’s full effect is truncated, King Eitri is said to be given "a third Power" without prior numeric context, Thor’s exact numeric change is not listed, and the Original Report trails off "ahead of a new ..." without finishing.
