Mortal Kombat Mobile Celebrates 11th Anniversary Season Starting April 1
Starting April 1, Mortal Kombat Mobile's 11th Anniversary Season delivers 10 free Kombatants over 10 days; the celebration actually started six days early.

The official Mortal Kombat Mobile account announced the "11th Anniversary Season starting April 1st," with Baraka himself apparently bringing cake to mark the occasion. The season's formal launch arrives tomorrow, but the actual rollout began six days early, and players already have new fighters, a revamped mode, and an active tower event to work through.
MK1 Geras and Klassic Skarlet headlined the March 25 update, adding two roster entries pulled from different ends of the franchise timeline. Geras crossed over directly from Mortal Kombat 1, while Klassic Skarlet carries a design rooted in her Mortal Kombat 11 appearance. Both are tied to what ComicBook's Marc Deschamps described as the "10-Year Anniversary Kombat Pass," a framing that sits in quiet contrast to the official account's "11th Anniversary" language. Players who purchased the Premium pass received Diamond MK1 Geras; the Premium+ tier offers early access to Gold Klassic Skarlet.
That March 25 update also introduced new Brutalities for MK1 Geras and Smoke, both previewed in the official anniversary celebration trailer. The Tower of Time's Anniversary Tower activated the same day and runs through April 10, putting players through 50 levels of combat with newly added Equipment as rewards. MK1 Geras is confirmed as one of the bosses waiting inside.
One day after the update, Faction Wars was overhauled into Realm Klash, a "remastered game mode" that launched March 26. The first phase adds new rewards for players who climb to the top of its leaderboards, with further phases implied by the "Part one" designation but not yet detailed.
The Anniversary Season formally opens tomorrow and immediately triggers a 10-day login event. Each daily login through April 10 delivers one free Kombatant from a roster of ten: MK11 Scorpion, Klassic Noob Saibot, Piercing Mileena, Edenian Blood Kitana, Thundergod Raiden, Lizard Jade, Grandmaster Sub-Zero, Klassic Sonya Blade, Onslaught Jax Briggs, and Fire God Liu Kang. The Tower of Time Anniversary Tower runs concurrently for the first nine of those days, meaning players are looking at two simultaneous grind tracks to close out the celebration.
