NEOWIZ Shuts Down Idol Management RPG IDOLY PRIDE on April 26
IDOLY PRIDE goes dark on April 26 as NEOWIZ shuts down both Korean and global servers, leaving players with one month to claim refunds and spend remaining paid currency.

After five years of idol management on mobile, IDOLY PRIDE is shutting down for good. NEOWIZ confirmed April 26, 2026 as the last day players on both Korean and global servers can log in, and with no offline mode available, that date marks total unplayability. The announcement landed on March 26, giving the community exactly one month to act before everything goes dark.
The in-app purchase storefront has already been disabled, so the spending phase of the game is effectively closed. For players holding unspent paid currency, NEOWIZ outlined a refund window covering purchases made within the 12 months prior to termination. The exact eligibility cutoffs are posted in the in-game notices and on the official support pages. Check those now; refund windows in mobile shutdowns are short and routinely missed by players who assume they have more time than they do.
While the storefront is closed, the game itself is still running a structured wind-down. NEOWIZ included special farewell events and compensation packages in the shutdown schedule, which means daily logins between now and April 26 still carry real value. Any paid currency left unspent when the servers close is simply gone, so pushing through that balance into farewell event content, not holding it, is the smarter play.
IDOLY PRIDE launched in Japan in 2021 as part of a multimedia project connecting the mobile game to live music events, original animation, and merchandise. NEOWIZ expanded it to global servers in 2023. With the game shutting down, that broader multimedia ecosystem loses its interactive anchor, complicating continuity for a fanbase that built around the IP across multiple formats.
The closure fits a pattern accelerating through early 2026: licensed anime and IP-based gacha titles are folding in higher numbers as operators find it increasingly difficult to sustain engagement on overcrowded storefronts. IDOLY PRIDE is not the first and will not be the last.
Screenshot your card collection, story progress, and any event records worth keeping before April 26. Once the servers go offline, there is no recovery path.
