Pokémon TCG Pocket adds Paradox Drive pack with Ancient, Future cards

Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex, and a new Ancient and Future split gave Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Paradox Drive pack a real reason to pull players back in, not just log in and drift away. The Pokémon Company International said the expansion launched on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, with Area Zero Paradox Pokémon at the center of the set and a clear push toward new deckbuilding synergies.

That matters because Paradox Drive did more than add a few headline monsters. The official announcement said Ancient and Future categories were built into the expansion, creating a new layer for deck construction around category-based synergy. For a mobile card game, that kind of design is the sweet spot: enough structure to reshape decks, enough collectible pressure to make packs worth opening, and enough familiarity that the game never asks players to learn a whole new ruleset.

The set also came with a clean content hook for collectors. Serebii.net listed Paradox Drive as the third themed booster pack in the B sets and said it contained 109 cards in total, split between 74 normal cards and 35 secret cards. That puts the drop in the range where completionists immediately have a target list, while competitive players get new tools to test around Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex, and the broader Paradox pool from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

The rollout did not stop at the pack itself. The official event roadmap included a Paradox Drive Emblem Event in late May to early June, Community Week in early June, and additional mid- to late-June content that includes solo battles for B series vol. 9 promo packs, a Ceruledge ex Drop Event, and a wonder pick event for Sableye and Floragato cards. Pokémon GO Hub said the Emblem Event ran from May 31, 2026, to June 11, 2026, with rewards tied to 1, 3, 5, and 9 wins and missions that awarded Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust.

That combination is what gives Paradox Drive staying power. The pack delivered a new chase set, the Ancient and Future tags gave deckbuilders a fresh angle, and the follow-up events turned the release into a cycle rather than a one-day splash. For Pokémon TCG Pocket, that is the kind of live-service rhythm that keeps the collecting loop moving.
